What a wonderful morning out clothes shopping with one of our lovely residents! We had so much fun giving her the full Pretty Woman experience—trying on a whole wardrobe of outfits, with plenty of giggles and laughter along the way. 👗🛍️✨

After filling a bag with beautiful new clothes, we treated ourselves to a well-deserved stop at Costa for a tea and a caramel frappe. ☕🥤 The sunshine made the day even more special. ☀️

Elaine was all smiles and said, “I’ve had the best morning out, it’s been lovely.”
Moments like these are what it’s all about—creating happiness, confidence, and memories together. 💖

Our residents truly enjoy arranging these lovely blooms and take great pride in decorating our home with them. Activities like this bring so much joy, creativity, and colour to everyone’s day. Thankyou M&S.
Our garden is also looking fantastic at the moment — the strawberries and carrots are growing really well, and residents love watching the progress and getting involved in caring for them. It’s wonderful to see nature flourishing around us 🌱🍓🥕

Today was all about relaxation and wellbeing as our residents enjoyed some gentle foot massage and pampering. This calming activity not only feels wonderful but also helps to improve circulation, reduce stress, ease aches and pains.

🌸 Another lovely week filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments!
Our residents have been enjoying a wonderful mix of activities including beautiful flower arranging, fun games, engaging 1-to-1 sessions, relaxing reading time, and of course a lively round of bingo. We also shared a special church morning together, bringing comfort and reflection to start the day.
And to top it all off, a cheerful coffee date at Costa added that extra touch of warmth and conversation ☕
Lots of positive vibes, encouragement, and friendship all around — it’s been a joy to see so many residents enjoying the week so far! 💛

🏇 Grand Cedars Grand National Fun! 🏇
Our lovely residents at Grand Cedars had a fantastic time taking part in our very own Grand National horse race, with our wonderful staff stepping in as jockeys racing them to the finish line!
This was truly anyone’s race, filled with smiles, friendly competition, and plenty of laughter all around. Events like these are not only great fun, but they also help keep our residents active, boost mood, encourage social interaction, and support overall wellbeing.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day so special. We are so proud of our amazing residents and team! 🧡

A great sweepstake at our very own Grand Cedars National! 🏇🐴🏇
Our residents participated throughout the day, enjoying making jockey hats and dressing up, as well as the main event racing filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of delicious food and drinks.
Everyone was a winner today, and it was lovely to see our residents engaging and having so much fun together.
A big thank you to our fantastic staff team for their continued support in making events like this so special. 👏

Yesterday our team came together for Sepsis Awareness Training delivered by Kelly, our IPC Trainer.

It was a great opportunity to learn together, build our knowledge and strengthen the care we provide every day. Recognising the signs of sepsis early can save lives, and we are proud of our staff for their commitment, teamwork and dedication to keeping our residents safe.

Thank you to everyone who took part and to Kelly for such an informative and engaging session. Together we learn, together we grow, and together we make a difference.
