🪴 Our eco garden project is in full swing, and it’s wonderful to see the progress being made. Our unique pergola is now come together and the new garden paving has been laid to ensure easy wheelchair access for everyone.
A huge thank you to our amazing maintenance team who have been working incredibly hard – the progress has been remarkable!
Our residents spent some lovely time out in the garden today enjoying the sunshine, fresh air, and the beautiful surroundings. With shrubs, plants, and flowers beginning to bloom, the garden is really starting to take shape. Residents had fun guessing the different types of flowers and sharing their thoughts on how beautiful it all looks.
Seeing so many smiles and hearing such lovely comments today was truly beyond words. 🪴 🌷

Our wonderful residents enjoyed a lovely arts and crafts session painting beautiful flowers for Mother’s Day. Everyone showed their creativity and worked hard to create colourful pieces that we will proudly display around our home.
We are so proud of our talented residents and the beautiful artwork they have made. The home is looking bright, cheerful, and full of love ready to celebrate Mother’s Day! 💐

We had a spot of spot the 10 differences on treasure island 🏝️ everyone got the 10 differences. We then screwed the papers in a ball and our nurse picked one ….the winner of the prize was Micheal👏 Well done to all who participated. This activity helps improve concentration, memory, and observation skills, while also encouraging social interaction and laughter. A simple game that brings smiles and keeps the brain engaged! 😊

Our residents enjoyed a lovely floristry activity, creating beautiful tabletop flower arrangements ready for our upcoming Mother’s Day celebration. It was wonderful to see everyone getting creative, choosing their favourite colours and carefully arranging each bloom. 💐 Hair flowers for Nurse and also John request 🙋‍♀️

Activities like these not only brighten our home but also bring smiles, conversation, and a sense of pride in creating something beautiful together.

Our carers engaging with residents in beach ball activity which is an excellent gentle exercise for older adults. It improves coordination, balance, reaction time, and social interaction while being very safe because the ball is light and slow-moving.

A couple of our ladies enjoyed a wonderful trip to Hollybush Garden Centre, spending the day picking out plants for our eco garden, enjoying a delicious lunch, and soaking up the peaceful surroundings. 🌸🍽️
We had great fun trying on hats, browsing all the beautiful items in the shop, and exploring the aquarium and pet section — which was especially tranquil and relaxing. 🐠🌿
A truly lovely day out filled with smiles, laughter, and special moments. 💚✨
