A family with so much courage , a family that every year has doves for their little boys birthday , I watch the other children grow each year blowing out birthday candles for their baby brother , and big sister now writing her own poetry for her baby brother delivering it beautifully , 🥺 my job is hard some days but the strength of this family makes me realise that more people in the world just need to be kind you never know what another person is dealing with 🩵🩵

🩵Happy 3rd birthday little man we think of you often and always look over to you when we’re around your resting place 🩵

When your not at home but spot your birds flying in this lovely sunshine , they are flying around home today having a litter stretch of their wings look closely for the spark of their wings as they glisten in the sunshine 🪽

Our birds are all having pj day today and keeping warm away from the freezing conditions, village doves follow guidelines for the welfare of our birds as this is paramount to us we always give a full refund if we have bookings for snowy days or other unsuitable conditions , we appreciate this can be disappointing but I’m sure we agree that the wellbeing of the birds is very important and we like to ensure we take every precaution to enable the birds to return home safely thank you for everyones understanding, although it looks very pretty hopefully it will disappear very soon 💙🕊️💙

And that’s a wrap for 2025 , our last release for a wonderful family for their special Mom / Nan first Christmas in heaven such a special way to honour a truly wonderful lady , thank you to all the families , funeral directors , who have supported us through the last 19 years and here’s to our 20th year 2026 we will be here to support all of our families , we wish you all a merry Christmas and a peaceful New year from all the team at village doves 🕊️💙🕊️

We are still working this week doing our final releases for 2025 on Christmas Eve , we have had a unbelievable busy year, while it’s amazing that we are trusted to provide our service for so many it’s very sad that so many families have been effected by loss, we have had the honour of officiating well over 400 dove releases at funerals and memorials and we hope during this very special time of year your memories are stronger than your tears and your love out ways your fears ,may you find peace in your hearts, talk about you loved ones , don’t be afraid to speak their names and enjoy your memories.
