✨ Ice Rescue Play at Kidz Hub! ❄️🧊
Today our little explorers took part in a freeze & rescue sensory activity, using paint, brushes and mini sea animals to discover, investigate and create!

This activity supports the EYFS through:
🧠 Understanding the World – exploring changes in state (ice melting), colour mixing and real-world animal habitats.
🎨 Expressive Arts & Design – using tools, colours and creativity to make marks and experiment with texture.
🤏 Physical Development – strengthening fine-motor skills through gripping paintbrushes, picking up ice and moving small objects.
💬 Communication & Language – encouraging new vocabulary like “melting”, “slippery”, “cold”, “freeze” and naming sea creatures.
🤝 PSED – sharing tools, taking turns and working together.
