🖤 History we can’t look away from.

This photo, taken in 1982, shows two autistic children tied to a radiator in an asylum. Back then, mental health care was often more about restraint than compassion.

Instead of support and therapy, many children were hidden away, misunderstood, and left to suffer in silence. It’s a chilling reminder of how far we’ve come — and how far we still need to go — in treating people with dignity, empathy, and respect.
