✨Star Light Alternative Education Provision✨

We would like to introduce Victor and Callum who are new to our provision. Victor is a qualified multilingual English teacher with international experience in trauma-informed education. Victor is supported by Callum who offers support to our students in the classroom. Callum also supports the teaching of CAD which is Coding and Design.

We offer a therapeutic environment with small group teaching for children that struggle in conventional teaching environments. We offer accreditation courses in a variety of subjects from Functional English and Math's, Science, Therapeutic art and crafts, Life skills, 3D printing Coding, plus our newly acquired outdoor education space provides a perfect environment for outdoor learning.

We offer support to children and young people age 8 to 16 that have been excluded or at risk from exclusion from education.

We would like to say a big thank you to Asda Foundation Grant that agreed funding for much needed equipment for our outdoor learning space 🌟

Our outdoor education spaces enables children and young people to learn about biodiversity and how to grow your own fruit and vegetables 🌟

The grant will be used to purchase accessible planting areas with raised beds, accessible paths and other equipment for gardening 🌟

Learn how to use bushcraft survival skills, camp fire cooking, learn how to light a fire, water purification and den building 🌟

We will also learn about bio diversity with pond dipping, and
discover the world of bugs! 🌟

Arts and crafts using natural resources for arts and crafts 🌟

Get planting and learn how to grow your own food using onsite polytunnels 🌟

Please note this a Walsall HAF program and all children have to be eligible for HAF with their own unique code. All children will be provided with lunch. Dietary requirements catered for 🌟

Dress warm with suitable footwear 🌟

After some teething problems with booking onto the portal it is now up and fully working. If we have missed anyone who messaged us about booking on could you please alert us to this.

We will be feeding the chickens and having a Easter egg hunt. 🥚 Maybe Easter bunny will pay us a visit 🐰 if we look hard enough !🌟

Our SEND half term holiday club is now over 🌟

We ran small inclusive sessions for children aged 4 to 16 who enjoyed bubble shows Cosmic Faerie Face Painting, Bubbles & Balloons, sensory play and crafting. We even made pancakes which were delicious 😋

Children were also able to enjoy our sensory garden, in-between the rainy showers and sensory room 🌟

Today our students broke up for half term at our Alternative Education Provision. As it was the last day we made fresh smoothies then a trip to Ninja Warrior

We made tasty mango, strawberry and banana smoothies and fresh salad to add to their lunch 🌟

They are working hard on achieving their certifications for the acreditation course they are working on. Today the were being assessed on cutting/slicing skills on Life Skills cooking, which they were outstanding ✨

Our facility offer placements for young people age 8 to 16. We have ASDAN accreditation course in Coding and Design, English and Maths, PHSE, Lifeskills and cooking, gardening and growing, therputic art 🌟
