We are proud to announce we were rated 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 during a routine Food Standards Agency visit!!

The inspector said we passed all categories of food hygiene and food safety to a high standard!

We will continue the Wild Roots education program we facilitate with young people; the 'Seed To The Table' by growing and cooking fantastic healthy food 🌱 🍅 🥒

Star Light Alternative Education Provision re opens its doors to returning and new pupils on the 3rd September 2025! 📙 ✏

We are ready to start our theraputic timetable with some exciting new additions!! 📙 🖋

Short and long term programs are available to children and young people age 8 to 16 with or without a EHCP. Smaller learning environments with a specialist staff team 🌟

We take referrals from schools, council teams and parents 🌟

We have had a fantastic summer spending time with Walsall children and families! 🌟

We offered 285 spaces and meals to children and young people through the Walsall Holiday Activity Program 🌟

This summer we were fortunate to be able to provide 4 weeks of fun, friendship and activities for children and young people aged 5 to 16 🌟

Thank you to the fantastic Star Light team and the families who made it a summer to remember 🌟

Another fantastic SEND Family event in Walsall 🌟

We were joined by Cosmic Faerie Face Painting, Bubbles & Balloons who demonstrated an impressive bubble event with giant smoke filled bubbles. 🌟

Face and arm painting was also available with a vast array of choice from sports to cartoon characters 🌟

We had amazing feedback from families who stated how much they enjoyed the show 🌟

This was an inclusive event aimed at SEND children so they can spend time together with their siblings and family members 🌟

A buffet lunch was also provided 🌟

This week we are welcoming teens for our Star Light gaming club. Where they can use PS4 Nintendo, Switch, VR on small and large screens to play multiple people 🎮

We also have sports activities like basket ball, Archery and axe throwing, graffeti art, and clay moulding ⚽ 🎯

We have managed to book a slot at the retro gaming suite in Walsall where they can be nostalgic about vintage gaming 🎮

All young people will have a hot lunch of there choice, fruit, drinks and a 🍰

This is a fantastic opportunity to make next friends 👦 👧

We are getting ready for our teens gaming HAF next week but in the meantime check out last weeks activities 🌟

We offered spaces to 40 children who were able to visit the cinema, game on PS4, Nintendo and Switch. 📹 🎮

We also did arts and crafts, play dough, planted seeds and made lavender bags 🌟

Basket ball, soft play and sensory room activities were also available 🌟

All children were provided with a hot meal as part of the HAF program 🌟

This week we have offered a variety of activities on our second week of Walsall HAF 🌟

Yesterday the children were able to make lavender bags using lavender grown in our own garden 🌿 We had already dried it for the children to put into cute little bags!! 🌟

The children then decorated their own plant pots and planted chilli 🌶 pepper and wild flower seeds. 🌱 They can continue to watch them grow at home 🌟

To carry on using a pollination theme on the theme they crafted butterflies 🦋 using arts and crafts 🎨

It was nice to see the children enjoy learning about plants, seeds and pollinators 🐝 🦋
