Put your hand up, who's guilty of the following? I know I am sometimes! 😬🤚

You are tired from the day/week of working, kids, housework, seeing family, friends, doing errands, and you can't wait for a good nights sleep, maybe even have an early night, BUT then you think, hmmmm 🤔I need some time to chill, just a bit of 'me time', the kids are in bed, it's nice and quiet, I'll just watch one episode of my show, then another and another, and before you know it, you''ve gone well over that 'early night' and now it's another late night, and you're feeling even more exhausted, and you've had even less sleep than the night before, and when you wake up, you feel rubbish! Go to bed!!!!!

It's important to remember, there's a time for 'me time', but there's also a time for 'sleep time', and when you are tired, and you need to recharge those batteries, listen to your body, and do what it's saying.

Sleep is just as important as eating, drinking and breathing, without it, we don't get to empty that stress bucket of ours (all those stresses, problems, issues built up over the day in our minds), which is vital for our physical and mental health.

So on that note, who's going to bed on time tonight? I know I am. 👍🥱😴

🧪It is important to understand which different chemicals are released into our body, and how each one helps you and makes you feel.

💫Actively practicing one of the 3 P's, helps neurons (nerve cells) release chemicals called neurotransmitters into the body. These chemicals carry signals between neurons (nerve cells), allowing the nervous system to control the body's organs.

The more 3 P's you practice:
👍Positive Actions (something that gives you a sense of achievement)
🤝Positive Interactions (positive interactions with friends, family and colleagues)
🤔Positive Thoughts (positive thinking and self-talk- PA & PI tend to lead to PT) the more 'happy hormones' are released through your body, leaving you feeling more:
😊Happy
😁Confident
💪Motivated
😇Calm
😀Focused
🙃Relaxed
🙂Content
and so much more.

😔Every negative thought, worry, problem we have creates anxiety.

🥺The more anxiety you have, the fear, survival response kicks in. You lose intellectual control and move from the logical/positive part of the brain to the primitive/negative/emotional part of the brain.

😔😢😡The primitive/negative mind then starts to take over. It can be a gradual process. The mind always reacts with the primitive/negative responses of anxiety, depression or anger, or a combination of all three.
