Put your hand up, who's guilty of the following? I know I am sometimes! 😬🤚
You are tired from the day/week of working, kids, housework, seeing family, friends, doing errands, and you can't wait for a good nights sleep, maybe even have an early night, BUT then you think, hmmmm 🤔I need some time to chill, just a bit of 'me time', the kids are in bed, it's nice and quiet, I'll just watch one episode of my show, then another and another, and before you know it, you''ve gone well over that 'early night' and now it's another late night, and you're feeling even more exhausted, and you've had even less sleep than the night before, and when you wake up, you feel rubbish! Go to bed!!!!!
It's important to remember, there's a time for 'me time', but there's also a time for 'sleep time', and when you are tired, and you need to recharge those batteries, listen to your body, and do what it's saying.
Sleep is just as important as eating, drinking and breathing, without it, we don't get to empty that stress bucket of ours (all those stresses, problems, issues built up over the day in our minds), which is vital for our physical and mental health.
So on that note, who's going to bed on time tonight? I know I am. 👍🥱😴
