🎄 Thank you all so much for joining us yesterday for our Christmas fete! 🎄

We had a fantastic afternoon of cake, crafts, games and dancing. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves. A huge thank you the team on shift who kept the party rolling, those staff and friend of Rushall who volunteered to run stalls and to all of you who came to support us!

Grand total raised will be announced Tuesday.

Rushall Care Home is officially Christmas ready for 2025. The decorations are up, the lights are twinkling, and the home is looking wonderfully festive. Our team have worked incredibly hard to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our residents, their families, and our visitors as we head into the Christmas season. Friends and family, while many care homes are celebrating their Christmas light switch on, we’re also celebrating our resident’s individual call bell sound being switched off.

This week, we introduced a new smart interface for our Person Centred Software Nurse Call system and the impact has been immediate. The relentless ringing has stopped (emergency alerts remain). The home already feels calmer, more peaceful and even more homely.

This upgrade reflects what the people who live and work here asked for, and it’s already reducing stress, improving wellbeing and making Rushall feel even more like home.

A simple switch off with a genuinely big impact, like a relaxing walk around Walsall Arboretum. Phil (General Manager).

Friends and family, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Rushall, and our run-up to the big day is busier than Santa’s diary. Alongside our usual daily activities, we’ve a packed festive schedule including our Christmas Fete, panto afternoon, Kings Road carol singers, festive fitness session and a beautiful ballet performance. Christmas Day and Boxing Day also promise plenty of warmth, laughter and celebration too. Good morning friends and family, we have recently had a lovely review from one of our current residents who is choosing to live here at Rushall Care Home. As you know we always do our very best to support all of our residents and our hard working staff. All feedback is very much appreciated, especially when it is from our own residents.
