Here at Alexia Court we are currently recruiting for a head cook vacancy and a weekend cook. We need someone to come and lead on our food delivery for our residents and someone to maintain this standard at the weekend also. Good experience would be very helpful.

Family and friends, we are incredibly proud of one of our colleagues, Ellie. She took on the challenge of “Braving the Shave”.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and support from family, friends, and even strangers, Ellie raised over £4,000. Every single donation, big or small, has made a real difference.

Ellie shaved her head to stand in solidarity, raise awareness, and support an important cause and we couldn’t be prouder of her courage and compassion. This was for her Nan who is on a journey with breast cancer.

From our hearts to yours, thank you to everyone who supported Ellie on this journey.

🥰 A huge happy platinum wedding anniversary to Molly and Harry! 🥰

Statistically in the UK, there are roughly 30 couples per year who make it to this 70th anniversary, which makes Molly and Harry’s marriage one in a million! (give or take a few)

We’re looking for a friendly and organised Administrator to join our team at Alexia Court Care Home, Bloxwich.

📅 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 3pm (27.5 hours per week)
🏠 Family-friendly hours in a supportive environment

What you’ll be doing:
✅ Welcoming visitors, answering calls and emails
✅ Keeping records up to date and supporting with paperwork
✅ Helping with staff rotas, training records and general admin
✅ Supporting the Home Manager with day-to-day tasks

What we’re looking for:
🌟 Good IT and organisational skills
🌟 Friendly, approachable and reliable
🌟 Previous admin experience (care/home experience a bonus, but not essential)

🤠 Music Mayhem- Country Chaos 🤠

We had a go at western style activities to match our music today. We’ve lassoed cows, had a go at sharp shooting, then settled down for a western movie.

🍎🍏 We had a lovely donation of home grown apples🍏🍎

Our ladies decided tomorrow’s pudding should be crumble. We have prepped and stewed our apples and will make our topping tomorrow ready for lunch time dessert.
