Good Friday (3rd of April 2026) we are having a visit from The Farm On Wheels.

Please be aware that there will be no parking in the spaces alongside our lounge between 1-4pm. This is so our residents can enjoy our furry friends safely.

Friends and family, we are delighted to share that our ground floor lounge here at Rushall Care Home has been fully refurbished again.

After many years of wonderful group activities, celebrations and daily social gatherings, it was time to invest in a new, hardwearing floor to support the busy life of our amazing home.

The transformation has made the space feel fresh, bright and welcoming once again. We think it looks fantastic and, more importantly, it remains a comfortable and practical environment for our residents and guests to enjoy.

We look forward to many more happy memories being made here. Phil (General Manager)

Today with help from the lovely Jean Walker we’ve had a go at watercolour painting. Jean normally works with oil paints but gave us a lesson with a more forgiving type of paint for us newbies.

We’ve had a lovely afternoon and are very pleased with the outcome.

Friends and family, one of our proudest moments is when one of our residents becomes too well to stay with us. It means recovery has progressed, confidence has grown, and independence has returned. We don’t let those moments pass quietly. We celebrate them properly, because going home isn’t a goodbye we’re sad about. It’s a success story we’re incredibly proud of. 🥳 Apologies for not posting much, we’ve been having too much fun! 🥳

Hair and nails, cuddles with Jax, a visit from The Motivation Hub, bird watching and boules!
And on top of our usual antics we’ve been cheering on Team GB with the Winter Olympics.

Today we handed over the activity reigns to Lily, the new activity coordinator of our sister home Alexia Court. As you can see from the pictures, she has hit her role with a flying start!
