Morning to all my customers.....
Hopefully we won’t see a time like this again. But hope you are all well and healthy.
As it stands I’m still shoeing and trimming horses and regularly searching updates from the relative governing bodies and welfare organisations regarding the situation.
However there are steps we can take to ensure social distancing and keep each other well. We are lucky as we can keep apart from one another ie a horse can be tied up and I can continue to shoe without the need for human contact.
I am, of course available for anyone’s concerns and as I say I will continue to tend to your horses with the focus on welfare until our governing body or the government tells us otherwise. Stay healthy and of course contact me if you’re concerned.

As most are aware of the recent equine flu outbreak. We all can do our bit. It’s an airborne virus so Please be honest with me if you suspect your horse and please contact your respective vet also. I can always rebook.

Had a lovely weekend away in the new forest, lots of ponies and donkeys and I'm not going to lie I wish I had my nippers and rasp to sort out a lot of their toes!

Thank you to everybody who allows me to shoe their wonderful horses. Sometimes their old shoes and rasps used on them doesn't just end up on the scrap pile. They end up as part of a sculpture, hope you like Elgin the Eagle.

Always nice to see remarkable progress. Rodney had a major surgical procedure to have a keratoma removed. From the size and severity of the hole it's amazing how good of a patient he is and much credit must go to his owner chloe! 👏
