A sunny, Minibus 🚌 Monday 🤩 We had a beautiful drive in the countryside 🌿 and out to Rosey Lea Tearoom ☕️ at North Weald Airfield ✈️ We are blessed to be able to get out and about 🥰

Our next Honey 🍯 bees 🐝 will be on Wednesday 17th September from 10:30-12pm

Little Honey Bees offers classes for younger children from our
community in our care home to promote friendship and connections between our residents and children to enhance our residents overall wellbeing and quality of life.

Free ‘themed’ classes suitable for 0-5 year olds are being held
every other Wednesday, 10:30am-12pm

Why not come along and enjoy a coffee with other parents from our community and meet our residents.

This Remember A Charity Week, we’re proud to join almost 200 charities in celebrating and thanking ‘Willanthropists’ across the UK — those who have chosen to leave a gift to charity in their Will. Their generosity is creating a lasting impact for good causes everywhere.

For Pets As Therapy, gifts in Wills fund around a quarter of our work, providing vital long-term support that helps us recruit and train more volunteers and therapy pets. Thanks to this kindness, we can reach more schools, hospitals, care homes and community spaces, bringing comfort and companionship to people for generations to come.

Our ladies throughly enjoy visiting the hairdresser weekly 💆‍♀️ 💇‍♀️ they love ❤️ a natter with Amie while being pampered. Ladies you all look wonderful 😁

As the weather was pretty grime 🌧️ today we snuggled indoors picked fresh apples 🍏 from the Honeylane gardens and we decided to make 👩‍🍳 an apple 🍏 and cinnamon cake 🍰 the smells of cinnamon reminded us that autumn 🍂 is around the corner 😔

Mini Bus Monday 🚐😀

Today we made the most of the sunny ☀️ weather and ventured out to Heybridge Basin where we boarded a boat 🚤 for a lovely cruise, we sat back and enjoyed the beautiful scenery Haybridge had to offer 💚 we even had a sing song 🎶 while the others joined in. IWA Essex Waterways Ltd.
Then it was a stroll 🚶‍♀️ along the water taking in the scenery and enjoying lunch 🥙 an ice cream 🍦

Last night we Attended The 2025 Waltham Abbey In Bloom/Horticultural show
Our Green 💐🌿 fingered residents along with the staff, Chris our gardener have been working hard over the summer months to get our communal gardens looking in full bloom 💐🌺🌹our gardens have never looked so beautiful 😍 Its with great pleasure to announce that Honeylane won 🏆 all three catagories entered

Being awarded 1st place for the best kept communal garden for the 2nd year running , Best communal hanging basket, Best communal container and receiving a trophy 🏆 for first place for Overall Best in bloom” we are truly happy 😃 for a very successful evening. Chris Skiddy
