Despite the cold weather, we’ve been keeping cosy and enjoying the little things ❄️🧣
Aprons on as we baked a delicious banana loaf – the smell alone was amazing! 🍌🍞
We then snuggled into the Namaste room, soaking up some well-deserved peace and tranquillity 💛✨

It was lovely to welcome back our honey 🍯 bees 🐝 today for the first group of 2026, residents throughly enjoyed watching them play 🫧🧸 and we enjoyed the interactions and the smiles 😀 of happy children 🧒

We have recently discovered Musical Bingo 🎶🃏 It’s hard to focus on the bingo cards when the music has us toe tapping, dancing 💃🕺, singing 🎤🎵 and having the best time 😍🙌 however we did have lots of happy winners along the way 🏆🎉

Join us for our first Honey Bees of 2026 on Wednesday 7th January from 10:30-12pm

Little Honey Bees offers classes for younger children from our
community in our care home to promote friendship and connections between our residents and children to enhance our residents overall wellbeing and quality of life.

Free ‘themed’ classes suitable for 0-5 year olds are being held
every other Wednesday, 10:30am-12pm

Why not come along and enjoy a coffee with other parents from our community and meet our residents.

This morning we had a soothing 🪷✨ Namaste session designed to engage all the senses🕯️🙏 Gentle massage, sensory elements, soft relaxing music and lights brought a deep sense of calm and connection ✨🧘‍♀️
This afternoon we enjoyed a Minibus trip in the winter sun ☀️ 🚐 to Roydon Marina ❄️⛵ We wrapped up warm, looked at the boats, the views and had a cosy beverage together ☕🧣 Memories made and moments shared 💙✨

So chilly outside but so cosy inside at Honey Lane today ❄️✨ We enjoyed a relaxed time creating winter themed arts and crafts 🎨☃️ with music playing in the background 🎶📻 and treats to enjoy 🍩🤍 A lovely, peaceful atmosphere for everyone 😊✨

Ending the year with a bang, in true Honey Lane style! 🥂✨
The drinks 🍸 were flowing, we sang, we danced 💃🕺, and celebrated with our favourite Brandon who always knows how to entertain.
Thank you to our incredible Honey Lane family and friends for all the love ❤️ and support this year. We’ve had an amazing year — here’s to an even better 2026!
