Care Work / Support Work!
Dirty and soiled Pads are quite the norm and you know loads of old songs. You've perfected the look when someone does something wrong. Your team of 3-5 can get over 7 adults in and out of bed in a couple of hours making sure that 100% care and dignity is given. You may find yourself repeating things you say to make sure your client feels safe and happy. The word "CQC" sends panic through you even though you know it will be fine! If you dont come home exhausted or sweaty you know you haven't worked the hardest you can. After a long hard night, you hate it when people say "why are you so tired you only wipe "bums" and make "cups of tea" forgetting that care is 100x more than that I assure. You know what everyone likes for breakfast, how they like their tea & coffee made without having to ask. You also know their favourite place to sit, time to go to bed and their favourite thing to watch & do. Every night\dat can be a struggle when you're having to try your best to get people to eat and take fluids just so they stay alive! You are there when they go to sleep and when they go wake up. You're there on good and bad days/nights, you are also there when they need end of life care right up until their last breath putting your own fears aside. We care for these people like they are our OWN! helping them, listening, reassuring, laughing, cuddling, crying, comforting & most importantly being STRONG! We leave work looking like we've been dragged out the Bush backwards despite leaving the house in a respectable way 12 hours earlier.

Hi does anyone know of anyone that is finding things a little difficult and are looking for abit of help with care for themselves or someone they may know. I have had some times come up where these may fit in for your specific needs or wants. Here are a few things that C'N'G care are able to provide for you:
It can either be taking you/them out for a couple of hours,
Or even helping with personal care and things around the house,
Or it may even just be needing help with going to appointments if need be.

3 and half weeks ago we was approached by a lovely lady Jean who asked us to help her care for her twin sister joan, who has cancer and needed palliative care. These two sisters have been together since birth and have done everything together, they have no family left and it was just the two of them. 89 great years together.
Sadly Joan loss her battle to cancer today. Our thoughts go out to her twin sister Jean on the loss of Joan May she rest in peace. All our love from everyone at C'N'G care ❤ 💕 X###

We received this in the post today. From the family of the service user that sadly passed away. To know we done our up most best and cared for their mum right to end is appreciated makes me proud and is one of the reasons I love my job ###
