People often ask what my work actually looks like.

It looks like calm hands on tired bodies.
It looks like conversations that finally make sense.
It looks like women sitting together realising their symptoms aren’t ‘in their head’.

Every part of my work is about helping the body feel safe again.
Because when the body feels safe, it starts to heal.

Which part of this do you need most right now?

On Sunday I walked my dog to my son’s kickboxing grading…
and honestly? I felt bloomin great.

Not pumped.
Not wired.
Just calm, clear and grounded in my body.

And this is why I talk so much about walking outside, especially during peri- and menopause.

When hormones are all over the place, your nervous system doesn’t want more pressure.
It wants safety.
Fresh air.
Gentle movement.
Space to breathe.

Walking outside does some really powerful things without you having to try:

It lowers stress hormones
It steadies your mood
It helps with brain fog
It supports sleep later on
It brings you back into your body instead of stuck in your head

And the best bit?
You don’t need gym kit.
You don’t need motivation.
You don’t need to push.

Just shoes on. Out the door. One step at a time.

So if fitness feels hard right now…
If motivation has gone missing…
If you’re tired of feeling “off” in yourself…

Start here.
A walk.
Outside.
No pressure.

Sometimes that’s all your body is asking for 💚

If this resonates, save it for the days you’re tempted to do nothing at all. And if you fancy building strength, confidence and consistency in a way that actually supports your hormones, you know where I am ✨

This one is for you whether you’re experiencing changes in your own body
or
you’re watching someone you care about go through them and wondering what on earth is going on.

If menopause has crept up quietly and left you thinking,
“Why do I feel so different… and when did this even start?”
or
“Why does my partner seem more tired, foggy, or unlike herself lately?”
you’re not imagining it.

Most of us are taught that menopause is something that happens in the late 40s or 50s. Periods stop. A few hot flushes. End of story.

But the truth is… that’s not how it usually begins.

Menopause is not a single moment.
It’s a transition.

For many women, changes start years earlier. Sometimes in the late 30s or early 40s. Energy dips. Sleep becomes broken. Motivation disappears. Weight feels harder to manage. Emotions feel closer to the surface. And often, there’s no clear explanation given.

This phase is often called perimenopause, and it can last for several years.

Because it’s gradual, it’s easy to miss. Or to misunderstand.
Women may blame themselves.
Partners may feel confused, helpless, or unsure how to support.

I see this all the time in my work. Strong, capable women doing everything they’ve always done… yet feeling frustrated, flat, or disconnected from themselves. And partners who want to help but don’t know what’s actually happening.

So if you’ve ever thought,
“Why isn’t my body responding like it used to?”
or
“I can tell something’s changed, but I don’t know how to help.”

Please hear this:
Nothing is wrong.
No one is broken.
And no one is failing.

This is a natural stage of life that we simply aren’t educated enough about.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing simple, supportive insights into what’s happening during menopause and how small changes, especially around food, movement, and self-care, can make a real difference. Not just for women going through it, but for the people supporting them too.

No extremes. No pressure. Just understanding, compassion, and practical support.

For now, let this land:
Awareness changes everything. And understanding brings relief.

More soon 💙

There was a time when I thought consistency meant pushing.
More effort. More discipline. More grit.

If I’m honest, that approach stopped working for me.

Especially during menopause.

What I’ve learned since is this:
Consistency isn’t about forcing yourself forward.
It’s about staying in motion, even when the steps are small.

There were days when my only “win” was getting outside for fresh air.
Or moving my body gently instead of training hard.
Or simply choosing not to quit on myself.

And that mattered.

Because our state, how we feel in our body and nervous system, shapes everything.
When we feel overwhelmed, depleted or flat, pushing harder just adds more pressure.
But when we feel safe, supported and capable, even tiny actions create momentum.

Forward doesn’t have to be fast.
It just has to be kind and consistent.

This is something I remind my clients of all the time.
You don’t need to overhaul your life.
You don’t need to “get back to who you were”.

You just need one small step… and then another.

That’s how confidence rebuilds.
That’s how energy returns.
That’s how change actually sticks.

If you’re in a season where big goals feel heavy, let this be your permission slip.
Small steps still count.
And they still move you forward 💙

For most of my life, movement was just who I was.
I ate well, stayed active, worked in the fitness industry for over 30 years and genuinely loved looking after my body.

Then about five years ago… something shifted.

It started with migraines.
At the time, I didn’t connect the dots. I just knew my body suddenly felt different, unpredictable, and harder to manage. Looking back now, that was the beginning of hormone changes and my transition into perimenopause.

What followed really knocked me sideways.

I lost my motivation.
Not just for fitness… but for everything.

And that was new.
Very new.

This wasn’t a “can’t be bothered today” feeling.
It was like the drive that had always been there had quietly packed up and left. Even things I loved felt heavy.

Then came the moods.

One minute I’d feel fine, even happy.
The next, I’d be crying for no clear reason at all… or feeling so low it scared me.
It genuinely felt like a little gremlin had taken over my mind and body.

At my lowest points, I didn’t recognise myself.

With deeper education and lived experience, I now understand what was really happening.
This wasn’t weakness.
It wasn’t a lack of resilience.
It wasn’t “just stress”.

It was hormones.
Powerful, shifting, unsteady hormones doing what they do during perimenopause.

And this is exactly why I’m so passionate about supporting women through this phase of life, and also those watching it happen to someone they love.

Because menopause is so much more than hot flushes and joint pain.

It can affect your mood, your motivation, your confidence, your identity, your energy, your relationships and how you feel about yourself day to day.

This is just the tip of the iceberg…
And it’s a conversation we need to keep having, honestly and without judgement.

If this resonates, please know you’re not broken.
You’re not failing.
And you’re definitely not alone 💙

Ever walked into a room and completely forgotten why you’re there?
Or lost your words halfway through a sentence and laughed it off… while quietly feeling a bit worried?

If you’re in perimenopause or menopause, this isn’t you “losing it”. And it’s definitely not a sign that something is wrong with you.

Brain fog is incredibly common during this stage of life. Hormones are shifting and your brain is having to adapt to changes in how it manages focus, memory and stress. Things that used to feel automatic suddenly take more effort.

You might notice you’re forgetting names, losing your train of thought, struggling to concentrate at work, or feeling slower than you used to. And over time, that can start to knock your confidence. You might even catch yourself thinking, “What’s wrong with me?”

Here’s what I want you to hear. There is nothing wrong with you.

Your brain isn’t failing you. It’s asking for more support, not more pressure. More rest, more understanding, and a bit more kindness from you.

Pushing harder, criticising yourself or trying to “snap out of it” usually makes it worse. Supporting your body through movement, rest, nourishment and calming your nervous system can make a real difference over time.

And just as important, letting go of the idea that you should be coping the way you used to.

If this resonates, you’re not alone. So many women are quietly experiencing this and thinking they’re the only one.

Save this for the days you forget what you were doing.
Share it with someone who keeps joking about their memory.
And if you want gentle support through this phase, I’m always here to chat.

Confidence in your body isn’t about how it looks.

It’s about trusting it.
Knowing it will carry you.
Feeling able to climb, move, play and say yes to life.

That confidence doesn’t happen by accident.
It comes from looking after your body, listening to it, and giving it the care it needs along the way.

Movement, rest, hands-on care and moments of calm all matter.

This is what long-term wellbeing looks like.

Yesterday I was back in the room for advanced Belief Coding® training in person… and wow.

This work goes so much deeper than habits or mindset tips.
It works at the level of identity.
Who you believe you are.
Who you’ve learned you need to be to stay safe.
And who you’re ready to become next.

Sitting in that space again reminded me just how powerful this work is. I didn’t just learn more, I felt it. And I got to witness real shifts happening in real time. The relief. The lightness. The happiness when something finally clicks inside.

I’ve already seen how life-changing this work can be in the sessions I’ve completed with clients so far. Yesterday simply deepened that knowing and honestly lit me up all over again.

This is the kind of work that changes how you show up in your life.
How you see yourself.
How you move forward without forcing or pushing.

I’m so excited to bring this deeper level of work into my sessions. Thank you
Very exciting times ahead 🤍
