Yesterday, I had the honour of leading a celebration of life for Geoff — a man whose humour, warmth, and unwavering love for his family left a lasting imprint on all who knew him.

Geoff was the kind of person who could light up a room with a story and make you feel like an old friend within minutes. He was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and someone who lived with kindness and laughter at his core. His family spoke so beautifully about the way he showed up in their lives — not just in the big moments, but in the everyday ones too, which so often matter most.

Services like Geoff’s remind me that even in our grief, there is such beauty in remembering, sharing stories, and coming together to honour a life well lived.

With his family’s kind permission, I’m sharing this photo as a small tribute to a remarkable man.
