From Monday 28th July our dedicated prescription query line will only be open in the afternoon from 3pm to 4.30pm.
At all other times queries can be made via Anima or by calling the surgery on 01255 674373.

On Tuesday 26th August 2025 from 11.30 am to 1.30pm a representative from The North East Essex Digital Access Support Team will be in the surgery. They will be able help with any queries with the NHS app, on line accounts or the Anima triage system.

MOUNJARO (TIRZEPATIDE) FOR WEIGHT LOSS

Please be aware that this GP practice is not currently prescribing Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) for weight loss.
WHY? Suffolk & North East Essex ICB has not commissioned this practice to prescribe Mounjaro for weight management purposes.
While some patients may have received Mounjaro under previous or historic arrangements, these are not being newly initiated and only existing prescribing arrangements remain in place at this time.
If you have questions about your current treatment or weight management options, please speak to a clinician.

Weight Loss injections
We understand there has been significant media coverage regarding these drugs and their availability. We want to clarify that these medications are not currently available on demand. Our practice is awaiting the launch of an Integrated Care Board (ICB) Weight Management and Complex Obesity Service (WMCOS), which will provide comprehensive support for eligible patients. Until this service is operational, we encourage patients to continue focusing on healthy lifestyle choices and consult with us for personalised advice.
