We all enjoyed having a go at making cheese scones for scone day. They were enjoyed at tea and i was told that they tasted lovely with some butter.

Here are some of the christmas crafts that we have been making on the lead up to christmas. We have had lots of fun making these with lots of laughter. The residents have also named their snowmen🎄🎅

We went into the garden today to animal watch. We have squirrels and a variety of birds that pay us a visit daily. Going into the garden and engaging in garden activities provides significant physical, mental, emotional and social benefits for people who live with dementia.

Today we did baking and made some rock cakes. Baking with people who are living with dementia offers benefits like sensory engagement, memory recall and a sense of purpose. These will go down nicely with a cup of tea or coffee this afternoon 🙂 Alzheimer's Society Championing Social Care
