We popped out to our local shopping centre this afternoon to wish shoppers a Happy Easter and gift them a creme egg with a Bible verse attached. We gave 40 eggs away and, more importantly, had some lovely interactions and made people smile.

I know we're a little early but our ACE is away at Spring Harvest next week so we had to fit it in before she went.

We enjoyed exercising our legs this afternoon, scoring goals in our new football net. Getting a pop up goal back into a small round bag was a challenge and took nearly as long as the actual fitness session! Thankfully, June's family were there to help.

We would love as many of our Luff House family as possible to come along to this. If you can help us achieve that by supporting your loved one to get there please get in touch and let us know. It's a wonderful opportunity for all generations of family to come together, so do invite children and grandchildren too.

We looked at some Hannah Dunnet pieces of art, then let our own colouring, drawing, doodling and writing be inspired by her work. Hymn books and Bibles were on hand in case we needed to look something up before writing on our art.

It's finished! The road to Emmaus.
Not 'It is finished'; that's a different part of the story.

There will be crafts around the sanctuary at Homelands Church telling the Easter story, with different groups contributing.
Palm Sunday, Last Supper, crucifixion, empty tomb, the road to Emmaus (people to be added by someone else).

Check out Homelands Free Church page to find out what they've got going on and when's a good time to go and see our creative contribution.

This group really concentrated on decorating cakes for afternoon tea. We then enjoyed eating them with our cuppa before having a go at some jigsaws.

Life at Luff House

Fulfilled Living

In every one of our homes and schemes we express God’s love through compassion and care that helps people live life to the full - fulfilled living.

Luff House has an active social life in which residents can take part or follow their own pursuits. We appreciate that each resident has their own individual interests, hobbies and pastimes, and we endeavour to support our residents to maintain this important part of their lives. Our residents are encouraged to lead the lifestyle that they choose, doing as much or as little as they want - residents can simply choose to put their feet up with a daily paper (by arrangement) or a good book from the County Library which visits every month, or from the home’s own collection.
