Just like life itself, the life of a yoga studio moves through its own seasons ~ times of busyness and times of stillness. Sunny London summers are one of those quieter times when the studio naturally slows down. I used to feel scared, pessimistic, even a little sad. But over time ~ and thanks to reminders from wise friends who run their own businesses ~ I’ve come to see this season as an invitation.
An invitation to pause.
To not push.
To let the stillness ripen our creativity, spark new ideas, and guide us gently toward the direction we want to grow.
This year, we’re choosing to embrace this season with rest, peace, and what we at home call POMALO ~ a philosophy of moving through life slowly, without urgency or pressure.
Because in the end, these slower times nourish us. They help us move forward with clarity, fresh creativity, and deeper intention.
So maybe you, too, can let yourself welcome life’s pauses ~ without the fear of missing out, or the anxiety that things are passing you by.
We’ve used this time to connect with beautiful, creative people around us and lay the foundations for the months to come.
This is what awaits you at SOMA.
Enjoy the summer.
POMALO.
