Most people don’t come in at the first sign of pain.

They wait.
They stretch it.
They rest it.
They try to push through it.

And sometimes that works.

But when pain keeps coming back, or never quite goes away, it’s often a sign the body needs the right kind of treatment rather than just more time.

That could be osteopathy, rehabilitation work, K-Laser therapy, cryotherapy, or one of the other treatments available here.

The earlier the problem is understood, the easier it usually is to fix.

If your body has been telling you something for a while now, it might be worth listening.

Treating hockey players means dealing with fast direction changes, repeated sprinting and huge rotational load through the hips and lower back. We’ve recently been working with the London Wayfarers hockey team, helping players manage hip, groin and pelvic stability issues that commonly appear in the sport. Targeted rehabilitation focuses on restoring mobility, strengthening stabilising muscles and reducing the risk of recurring injuries.

If you play hockey and something keeps niggling, DM us and we can talk through how rehabilitation can help.

Most people are familiar with ice packs or ice baths.

But targeted cryotherapy works very differently.

Instead of cooling the whole body, Rapid Repeat Cooling focuses on one specific area that needs treatment.

A controlled burst of extremely cold air cools the tissue quickly. Once the area reaches the right temperature, the body is allowed to warm naturally before the process repeats.

This controlled cycle helps increase circulation and delivers oxygen-rich blood to the injured area.

The result?

Reduced inflammation, pain relief and faster recovery.

Because the treatment is highly targeted, it can be particularly useful for specific injuries where traditional ice therapy isn’t enough.

If you want to learn more about targeted cryotherapy and how it may support recovery, visit www.navalmair.com.

Golf season is starting - and so are the injuries.

Every year we see a rise in lower back, elbow and shoulder issues once people return to the course after winter. Golf might not look intense, but the rotational forces through the spine and hips are significant, especially if mobility and strength haven’t been maintained.

Treatments such as Shockwave Therapy, osteopathy and structured rehabilitation can help manage pain and reduce the chance of recurring injuries.

If you’ve already felt that first post-round twinge, call 020 8812 3733 and let’s address it before it becomes a bigger problem.

Finding someone you trust with your health can be difficult.

Veronica had lived with chronic pain, fibromyalgia and PTSD following the London 7/7 bombings. Like many people with long-term conditions, she had tried countless approaches and treatments over the years.

When she started treatment with Naval, she experienced something she hadn’t felt in over two decades - a full night’s sleep after her first K-Laser therapy session.

K-Laser Therapy works by delivering focused light energy deep into damaged tissue. This helps reduce inflammation, relieve pain and stimulate the body’s natural healing process.

For people living with chronic pain, even small improvements can mean a huge change in daily life.

Veronica’s journey is still ongoing, but she says the treatments have given her more confidence and hope about managing her health.

Sometimes the biggest step forward is simply finding the right person and the right treatment.

If you’re dealing with long-term pain and feel like nothing has worked, it may be worth exploring a different approach.

Actor Marc Warren came to Naval after being recommended by a trusted friend who had fully rehabilitated from a bicep injury.

Marc had been struggling with piriformis and glute pain and found himself overwhelmed by the amount of conflicting advice online. Through a combination of massage, osteopathy and acupuncture, Naval created a structured treatment plan with a clear timeline for recovery. Marc describes Naval as a warm and compassionate practitioner with vast experience and a deep understanding of the body.

If you’re unsure what advice to follow when dealing with persistent pain, call 020 8812 3733 and let’s talk it through.
