🎨 Today in arts and crafts, there was a lot more than just hand painting… it somehow ended up on noses and cheeks too! 😄 But it brought so much laughter and joy to the activity.

At Elmbrook Court, fun is at the heart of everything we do, and today that truly shone through with Sally, Margaret, and Daphne 💕

🌼☀️ Yesterday, our lovely resident Pam enjoyed some special one-to-one time in the sunshine, making the most of our beautiful gardens. 🌿💛

She spent her afternoon relaxing with her newspaper 📰 and gently picking flowers 🌸 — such a peaceful and heartwarming moment.

It was truly wonderful to see how much the sunshine and surrounding wildlife lifted her mood, with her beautiful smile shining bright for all to see 😊✨

🎭 Rags to Riches 🎭

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Tickled Pink Productions this evening for their fantastic Rags to Richesperformance 🎤

The costumes were truly stunning and brought so much colour and energy to the show — it really made the whole performance come alive!

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed every moment, with plenty of smiles, laughter, and even a few dance moves along the way 💃

A big thank you to Thomas and Charlie for making the show so interactive and inclusive, getting our residents and staff members involved and creating such a joyful atmosphere.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming Tickled Pink back to the home for their next show — Around the World in 60 Minutes 🌍

A huge congratulations to Abi, Ritu and Sarita on successfully completing their City & Guilds accredited Assistant Practitioner course 👏✨

They recently attended their awards ceremony to collect their certificates (and their new uniforms!) and we couldn’t be prouder seeing them return to Elmbrook Court ready to step into this next chapter.

Their dedication, commitment and passion for delivering exceptional care truly shines through. We’re so excited to see them utilise their enhanced clinical skills as they support our nursing team and continue making a real difference to our residents every day.

What an amazing afternoon at Elmbrook Court as we welcomed Simply Singing for the very first time! 🎶

Led by their wonderful leader and pianist Judith, the choir filled the room with energy and joy, performing a fantastic set that had everyone singing along.

There’s nothing quite like the power of music to bring people together!
With the sunshine streaming in, it made the afternoon even more special — a truly uplifting treat for our residents. ☀️

A huge thank you to all the talented members of Simply Singing for such a memorable visit. We can’t wait to have you back!

What a fantastic day at Elmbrook Court Care Home! 🎭✨

We were delighted to welcome Tony and his wonderful puppet show, bringing a truly lively and entertaining atmosphere to our home.
With his incredible talent, Tony brought a whole cast of colourful characters to life through storytelling, humour, music, and plenty of audience interaction.

Our residents loved every moment—laughing, singing along, and joining in with the fun.

Each puppet had its own unique personality, sparking smiles and creating a warm, inclusive experience for everyone. 💛

Beyond the laughter, the session encouraged meaningful engagement, helping to spark memories, inspire conversation, and bring people together.

It was a joy to see so many happy faces and hear the room filled with laughter.
