You may not realise just how big the link is between unbalanced,blood sugar and anxiety 😦
When we eat cakes, sweets, biscuits, or any other refined carbs our blood sugar spikes, followed by a crash 💥 This crash releases stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol, as well as reducing the amount of energy to the brain, causing brain fog 😶🌫️ and confusion, all of which adds to anxiety 😳
Eating complex carbs such as nuts and low sugar fruits as a snack can give us lasting energy rather than spikes and so improve our stress levels and anxiety 🤩😮💨
