You may not realise just how big the link is between unbalanced,blood sugar and anxiety 😦

When we eat cakes, sweets, biscuits, or any other refined carbs our blood sugar spikes, followed by a crash 💥 This crash releases stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol, as well as reducing the amount of energy to the brain, causing brain fog 😶‍🌫️ and confusion, all of which adds to anxiety 😳

Eating complex carbs such as nuts and low sugar fruits as a snack can give us lasting energy rather than spikes and so improve our stress levels and anxiety 🤩😮‍💨

Three things that make a HUGE difference :

1. Vitamin D - we’re at the end of winter and you could be really deficient. Vitamin D is like lubrication for the joints and muscles

2. Sitting too long. We’re designed to be active not sitting for hours at desk, in the car / train or in front of the TV. Set an alarm to move and stretch fully every 90 mins for a full 9 mins (90/9)

3. Regular yoga. Once a week is great but it’s not going to make a huge difference. Once you’ve learned how to do it, follow along at home via YouTube etc

And why not spend tv time stretching while you watch

I’ve got over 15 years of clinical well-being, education and experience, but it is my clients, and my own ongoing health journey that has taught me so much, and given me the compassion and understanding to really listen to other people’s health challenges.

My Full Moon Sound Bath will begin at 7:00 PM, inviting you to relax into soothing, resonant sounds that promote relaxation, clarity, and emotional release 😮‍💨
As the vibrations of gongs, crystal bowls, chimes, and other sacred instruments wash over you, you’ll feel a deep connection to the moon’s energy and your inner self ✨✨🙏

After the sound bath, there’s an optional sauna and cold plunge experience for those who want to heighten their sense of renewal and clarity ✨Alternatively, guests may choose to immerse themselves further in the sound journey by having instruments placed gently on their bodies, enhancing the healing vibrations 🎼

2. You’re eating on the run, when stressed or not chewing properly
