Thank you to all those attended the Family First Aid Course at The Beacon on Saturday. It was great to see parents, parents to be and also young people at the event. The event was organised by GroW Families - Grove & Wantage Family Community Group

Today we were at the Hungerford and Area Family Centre delivering baby and children’s first aid to new parents. All the little ones were so good and thank you for all the great questions. Thank you to Shelley for the invite.

🇬🇧 Today marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day — Victory in Europe.

🇬🇧 On 8th May 1945, the Second World War in Europe came to an end.

🇬🇧 As we mark this historic milestone, we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served and suffered.

🇬🇧 384,000 British soldiers and 70,000 civilians lost their lives in the fight for freedom.

🙏 We owe them a debt that can never be repaid — but we remember.

💙 As we face new challenges in this ever-changing world, may we never take peace for granted — and may we never, ever forget the cost at which it was won.

💫 We will remember them 💫
