Active Body prides itself on getting people back to their chosen sport as quickly as possible whilst preventing re-injury. We specialise in all aspects of Musculoskeletal and sports injury assessment and treatment. Late stage on feet change of direction rehab can often be missed out but it is a crucial part of successful return to play. This should build up all the way to game specific movements at full pace and return to contact rehab for contact sports. Don’t leave a weakness make sure you rehab properly to prevent a re-injury! What an amazing CPD for director Charlotte. I was invited into theatre to observe a players shoulder operation with one of the top shoulder surgeons in the UK. Seeing the surgery first hand gives a massive insight into why patients get the pain/symptoms they do post op during the rehab process. Knowing exactly what’s been done and how will also give a better understanding of the healing processes to guide rehab.
