📣This is a reminder to cancel any appointments you cannot make📣

Here at New River Health we have 19,000 patients and do our best to provide as many appointments as possible. However, with increased demand appointments do get filled quickly, making it hard to always accommodate for everyone. If you can no longer attend your appointment, it is vital that you let us know so we can free up that slot for someone else who needs it.

Get booked in with us for your MMR now to be protected!!

Measles is highly infectious and can be passed on even before a rash appears.

Make sure you are protected from becoming seriously unwell from measles by making sure you are up to date with your MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccinations.

Both sites will be closed this Wednesday afternoon for our monthly in-house staff training. We will be operating as normal in the morning. If you have a urgent issue please call 111. For emergencies call 999 or visit A&E.

The Pharmacy First service, launched this year, is aimed at making treatment more accessible for patients while easing service pressures for GPs 🩺. Outlined are the conditions currently treatable🤧. It is an optional service therefore not all pharmacies will offer it.

Some pharmacies in the area we know to be providing the service include:
- Jade Pharmacy
- St Andrews Pharmacy
- Crescent Pharmacy
- The Avenue Pharmacy
