✋🏼 Why sometimes it’s best to say NO to tear trough dermal filler 🛑

Tear trough filler might be your answer if you have loss of volume and dark circles under your eyes - like this beautiful client 👆🏼

There are so many factors incorporated into your consultation but one consideration may be tendency to swell or puffy eyes when you wake up.
However Tear trough filler is not always the go to under eye treatment for everyone and in my personal opinion, doesn’t age fantastically for everyone if other factors have not been treated beforehand - this is why your consultation and candidate selection is vital…controversially if during your consultation we feel you are not a suitable candidate we will refuse the treatment BUT you have options and will give you the routes best suited for you, individually!

🧬 Polynucleotides are a great option for those with a loose, creepy under eye area, pigmentation or puffy eyes, looking for repair at a cellular layer using DNA fragments.

⚡️ Plasma pen is another option when looking at the ocular region, but considerations such as lifestyle, skin Fitzpatrick and other previous treatments/surgery must be taken into account.

😮‍💨Cheek volume loss is another major contender, when assessing your suitability for tear trough treatment. As we age, our anatomy suffers bone and muscle resorption, moving downwards with gravity and we loose integral volume and support to the under eye area.

This is what a healthy mole looks like as a Dermoscopic image and this is exactly what our consultant dermatologists will look at to determine whether your mole needs further investigation or not.

We send a photo like both of the above with your information during our consultation with your medical history, lifestyle history and any changes in colour, shape, size, texture and pain that may be present.

Don’t use the excuse that you can’t see your GP to get your mole or lesion checked - we offer this service in clinic
