🌟 Celebrating Outstanding Care – Well Done Ellie! 🌟

We would like to recognise and celebrate the fantastic support recently provided by Ellie.

During a routine visit, Ellie immediately noticed that her client did not seem herself. Recognising changes including slurred speech and tingling in her hand, Ellie remained calm and acted quickly to ensure her client was safe and supported.

Whilst emergency medical assistance was not required, Ellie contacted the client's daughter, who attended shortly afterwards. Throughout the situation, Ellie provided reassurance and emotional support to both her client and her daughter, remaining with them until her client was feeling better and her daughter's emotions had settled.

This is a wonderful example of the vigilance, compassion, and professionalism our carers demonstrate every day. It's not just about recognising when something isn't right; it's about being there for people when they need support the most.

💙 RAFFLE FOR A GREAT CAUSE 💙

Our Christchurch Manager Kim and Deputy Manager Kolbyhave kindly made a lovely hamper to help Jo raise money for “Steps for Swings” 💙

From 1st–7th June, Jo will be walking from Cheltenham to Bournemouth to raise funds for safe playground equipment for two schools in Kenya after seeing first-hand the unsafe and broken swings and slides children were trying to play on.

If anyone would like to buy a raffle ticket, we are simply asking for a donation — there is no set price per ticket. Every penny raised will go directly to the project through the BOO Charity, meaning 100% goes to helping the children.

This week our BCP team are receiving a little summer goody bag from their managers as a small thank you for all the amazing work they do every single day 💙☀️

Each bag includes a reusable water bottle, some chocolate, a fun game to enjoy with fellow carers, a thoughtful poem and a little key ring charm — just a few small tokens to show our appreciation for such a hardworking and caring team.

Today we want to recognise and celebrate the exceptional care, professionalism, and quick thinking shown by our amazing carer, Paige. 💙

Paige attended a client visit as planned and immediately noticed that the client did not appear well. After checking in with her, the client explained she had a headache and was feeling breathless. Paige remained calm and observant, noticing that although the client had been using her inhaler, it was not working correctly.

Using her initiative and acting without hesitation, Paige called 999 immediately. With reassurance, compassion, and encouragement from Paige, the client agreed to go to hospital.

The hospital later informed the client’s family that she was in a critical condition and that if Paige had not acted so quickly, the outcome could have been very different.

Paige, we are incredibly proud of you. Your dedication, attentiveness, and genuine care truly made a life-saving difference. Thank you for everything you do every single day. 💙👏
