Spring is just around the corner, and we’re all looking forward to the brighter days ahead here at the care home 🌸🌷
There’s something special about this time of year – lighter mornings, birds singing, and the chance to step outside without wrapping up in layers! Our residents are excited to enjoy gentle walks in the fresh air, feel the sunshine on their faces, and watch the garden come back to life.
We’re planning some lovely gardening sessions too – planting colourful flowers, tending to raised beds, and seeing everything begin to bloom 🌼
Spring also means: 🌞 Afternoon teas in the garden
🪴 Potting plants and creating hanging baskets
🐦 Birdwatching and spotting the first signs of new life
🎨 Spring-themed crafts and floral arrangements
🎶 Music and singalongs with the doors open to let the sunshine in
It’s a season of renewal, fresh starts, and making more happy memories together. We can’t wait to welcome spring and all the joy it brings 🌿💛
