🦆 The Final Duck Update 🦆
Yesterday marked the ducks’ final swim and their last interaction with our residents 💛

It’s been such a special journey watching them hatch and grow, and it’s brought so much joy to everyone here. One resident summed it up perfectly:

"I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of seeing them hatch and grow."

Now, our ducks are heading back to the farm, where they’ll continue to grow and live a long, happy life 🐥🌿

🐥 Duckling Update 🐥
Our ducklings are absolutely thriving and growing so quickly! Every morning we come in, we can see just how much they’ve changed overnight – it’s amazing to watch.
They’ve brought so much joy to the home, and our residents have really embraced the experience. It’s been wonderful to see everyone so engaged, enjoying the ducklings and the happiness they bring each day 💛

🦆 Duck Update 🦆
The ducks are doing really well and hit a big milestone today… their very first swim! 🌊
They took to the water like naturals, paddling around happily and already looking right at home. It’s been lovely watching them grow and gain confidence each day.
Safe to say, they absolutely loved it! 💛

Longbridge Deverill Duckling Update 🐥

We’re pleased to share that five of our six ducklings are continuing to do well. Sadly, we did lose one around lunchtime today, which was upsetting for everyone.

On a brighter note, some of our residents have been busy choosing names for the remaining little ones: Plucky, Lucky, Ducky, Bonnie and Winnie 💛

The joy and smiles these ducklings are bringing to our residents is truly heartwarming to see. It’s moments like these that make such a difference to everyone’s day.

🐣 Duckling Update… and then there were 6! 🐣

We’re delighted to say that 6 out of the 7 eggs have now hatched, and all the little ones are doing really well 🐥💛

A big thank you to Karyn Henning for taking on the evening shift… although we suspect it might have had something to do with all the duckling cuddles! 😊

The residents have named them, which we will reveal in a post later.

Now we wait and see if number 7 decides to make an appearance…

We’d like to officially welcome our newest residents… 🐣

They’re a bit small, very fluffy, and currently still in their shells — our duck eggs are hatching!

We’re expecting lots of waddling, peeping, and probably a few VIP (Very Important Puddles) around the home.
We’ll keep you all updated as these little celebrities make their grand entrance… watch this space!
