New Directions New Directions Counselling, Supervision and Training

We offer individual counselling, couple work and counselling supervision, as well as a range of training options and business solutions. These include mentoring, business development, employee and organisational assistance and policy writing and development. For small charities and community groups in Wiltshire, and for students, we will consider a range of price reductions, as our aim is to provi

de support to community groups wherever possible. We are based in Warminster, but wherever you are in Wiltshire or the surrounding counties, if it's convenient for us to come to you rather than you to come to us then we are happy to do so.

LATEST NEWS: With the outbreak of the Coronavirus, and the necessity for social distancing that comes as a result, we at New Directions have had to change the way that we operate. Whilst the restrictions regarding social contact are in place, all of our work will be carried out remotely, but we will endeavour to offer as full a service as is possible. We are still available for consultation, and Trevor is continuing to offer counselling and supervisory sessions via phone or Skype. Whilst not perfect, these mediums are certainly good enough to be used as a stop-gap until we are able to meet face-to-face in the same room as before. Both Glenys and Trevor are very aware that during this time of uncertainty stress levels are likely to increase, and people may well feel extremely isolated and alone. Humans thrive on personal contact - we are social animals and need interpersonal contact to feel safe and loved. If you do find yourself feeling alone, detached or unsure about the future, both in the short term and the long term, then having someone to talk to could be useful. New Directions is still open, so feel free to contact us to see if we can help.

A new year at College studying counselling means a new clutch of trainee counsellors seeking either therapy or supervision from me. I do enjoy this time of year as new beginnings are undertaken, and new pathways forged. Onwards, brave souls!
