Relaxation is a skill many of us have unintentionally set aside in today’s busy society, and this can take a real toll on our wellbeing.

A friend recently reminded me of this when she spoke about building in regular mobility exercises to help prevent injury. It made me reflect on how many aspects of our health - both physical and emotional can be protected simply by practicing small, preventative habits.

When working with clients, I often witness how taking the time to rest, recover, and truly relax can prevent stress and anxiety from building up. Learning and practicing relaxation techniques isn’t just about feeling calmer in the moment it can create lasting, positive changes in overall health and quality of life.

On the evening of 21st September, I’ll be holding my first event of the season! A gentle gathering to mark the Autumn Equinox.

The evening will be filled with creativity, calm, and release. This is a chance to pause, reconnect, and welcome in the new season together. 🌙

Why Talking Therapy Matters — Always

We often think of therapy as something you only turn to when you’re in crisis. But the truth is, talking therapy is like going to the gym for your mind.

Just like physical fitness, mental fitness isn’t something you achieve once and then forget about. You don’t stop working out once you’re in shape — you keep going to maintain your strength, your health, your balance. The same goes for your emotional well-being.

Talking therapy isn’t a last resort — it’s a powerful tool for ongoing growth, clarity, and resilience.
It helps you process life’s changes, understand your own patterns, and build stronger, more authentic relationships — with others and with yourself.

Let’s normalise it.

Father’s Day without your dad is a different kind of day — quieter, deeper, but still filled with love.

Though I can’t see my dad, I feel him around. I believe love like that doesn’t end — it just changes form.

If you’re reading this having lost a father, know that your bond still lives beyond space and time. Speak his name, share his stories, feel his presence in your heart.

Tomorrow we honor not just the fathers beside us, but the ones who walk with us in spirit, watching over us with love that never dies. It isn’t just about absence — it’s about presence, too. The presence of the love he gave, the lessons he taught, the laughs you shared, and the way he shaped who you are.
