Progression Physiotherapy

Progression Physiotherapy At Progression Physiotherapy, we are a team of dedicated experts. We care - You are our priority. You get one to one attention.

We are highly trained and experienced Chartered Physiotherapists – specialists in treating musculoskeletal pain and injury. We discuss your problem and devise your treatment plan with you. You will learn what your injury is, how it is best treated, and how long it will take to get better. If further investigations are needed, we will use our close links with Bath and Salisbury’s best consultants and specialists as required. We have a reputation we are proud of - we have a proven track record for excellent treatment and patient care. Existing patients, surgeons, GP’s and insurance companies refer the vast majority of our patients. We know how important our reputation is, and work very hard to maintain it. Just take a look at our testimonials! We are recognised by all major insurance companies - These include BUPA. AXA PPP, Aviva, Groupama, WPA, PruHealth and many others, so if you have private health insurance your appointment fees will be claimable. All our physiotherapists are chartered and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (PhysioFirst). We have the pleasure of introducing one of our team, Adam Kwasnicki. An experienced MSK physio specialising in sports injury rehab and prevention. He has extensive knowledge and experience in returning you to sport and exercise, with high end rehabilitation being his specialty. His sporting experience as a physiotherapist includes England Rugby 7s, Premiership rugby match officials for the RFU, TeamBath Netball, TeamBath Rugby and now working alongside Progression Physiotherapy, for the world renowned UK Sports Institute. Previously known as the English Institute of Sport, Adam works with Olympic and Paralympic athletes in diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating them back to elite performance. Adam has also worked with professional tennis players, high end triathletes, runners, and cricketers.
These skills are all transferable to private practice, so there is no requirement to be an elite athlete yourself! Over 15 years in private practice has provided experience of many conditions, post operative rehabilitation, pain management strategies and most importantly, different people. Adam will work with you to find out how your problem is impacting your life, and to find a workable solution to get you on the road to recovery. You will have a thorough explanation and plan, and have opportunity to ask questions. Adam firmly believes the best outcomes come from working together. Adam utilises his exercise knowledge but also values the use of hands on treatment where appropriate, and often finds a combined approach yields excellent outcomes.
He is currently featured in the West Wilts Magazine https://progressionphysio.com/page2.html

We hope everyone is well and we just wanted to let you know that Progression Physiotherapy will remain open through this latest lockdown.

Please call 01985 218301 or email contact@progressionphysio.com for all appointments. We can not accept walk ins at this stage.

As per the last 6 months, all patients will need to go through a telephone screening process with their physio to ascertain the level of risk for face to face appointments. You will then be offered either a face to face appointment or a subsequent 'virtual' session.

Please be assured we are following government guidelines on PPE, hygiene and social distancing (where possible).

We wish everyone all the best and please stay safe.

Dear All,

It is with great sadness that we must temporarily close our doors due to the ongoing situation with the Coronavirus pandemic.

It is best to contact us on email: contact@progressionphysio.com

In the meantime, we are very pleased to be able to offer ‘Virtual’ Physio appointments. We can still add value and assist you in your rehab by using video appointments (on either WhatsApp, Skype, Facetime or Zoom) or a simple phone call if you prefer.

Although hands on treatment is optimal, we can still do a lot to assist you in a ‘Virtual Consultation’

- Discussion of the presenting problem and how it is responding

- Modified expert assessment looking at range of movement, self-resisted tests, movement analysis

- Advice and guidance on self-management strategies

- Advice on activity modification/return to sport or training

- Tailored exercise programme and design

- Education

- Triage and signposting for appropriate GP/specialist referral as necessary

- Advice on work modification

- Reassurance

At this stage, the cost of the session is half our usual rate at £20.

If you are interested, please let us know and we can arrange a time.

We wish everyone all the best and please stay safe.

Kind Regards

Scott Dupuy BBus, AMIHM (Sen)

One of our fantastic Chartered Physio's, Claire Winstanley, performed at the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games as part of the Military Wives Choir last night. Shared the stage with Foo Fighters, James Blunt, Ellie Goulding etc. Something to tell the grandchildren about! WELL DONE CLAIRE!
