đź§ When Thinking Becomes Overthinking - Tangled Thoughts
We all think things through—but sometimes, our minds just won’t switch off. Overthinking can feel like being stuck in a mental loop: replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, or worrying about what might go wrong.
It often stems from a wish to feel safe, prepared, or in control—but instead, it leaves us feeling anxious, exhausted, and disconnected from the present.
What can help?
🌿 Noticing the pattern—becoming aware of when you’re getting tangled.
🌿 Grounding—using breath, movement, or the senses to come back to now.
🌿 Self-kindness—noticing self-criticism and softening it.
🌿 Speaking it aloud—sometimes what looks like a thinking problem is actually a feeling needing care.
