Our dedicated staff support and encourage service users to be as independent as possible. Within Three Elms, the support team is led by a qualified and experienced manager Lindsey O'neil. We support our staff through effective management, training opportunities and career progression. Our commitment to providing our employees with appropriate training ensures that our service users are always look
ed after by experienced and well trained care professionals, who understand the needs of each individual. All of our homes are regularly rated by external inspectors and inspection reports are available for each of our homes. Three Elms provides support to staff and ensure they complete their requisite training plans. This in turn ensures that full training records are kept. In addition, all staff undergo regular reviews, where they are able to discuss future training needs and requirements to fulfil their roles within the home). Our property team continually reviews and upgrades our homes to ensure the accommodation is maintained to a high standard and is appropriate for the needs of service users. We continuously look for ways in which we can provide a reliable and superior service so that our service users feel that our home is their home. Our staff provide loving, sympathetic and inspired care whereby our service users feel valued, cherished and respected. We Are Your Home Away From Home:
When a service user is admitted to one of our homes, we work with the service user and their relatives, friends or representatives to draw up a person centred care plan. We work as a team to ensure that the plan is based on the needs of the individual and that it is regularly reviewed by all parties. In doing so we will always seek to:
Be sensitive to the needs of individual residents
Maximise each person’s independence
Plan services in partnership around the needs of the person
Overcome any difficulties
Recognise the potential in everybody
Offer training and support to all staff
We expect all of our staff to respect the individuality of every Service User, to be committed to the quality of life of older people and be committed to our approach to care. As a Service User, you will be:
Involved in all decision making about your care, support and finances
Offered choice and control in all that you do
Encouraged to live a lifestyle that is familiar, comfortable and safe
Encouraged to explore and maintain your skills, abilities and interests
Offered the opportunity to express your beliefs
