Try to avoid these common mistakes with muscle relaxing injections.

Remember, the aim with any aesthetic treatment should be to enhance and refresh but it is easy to lose sight of that by chasing individual lines and wrinkles.

No one else scrutinises your face the way you do, that tiny line you're focussing on? No one else notices. They do notice when it all starts to feel a little off, however.

My job as your practitioner is to ensure that balance and harmony is maintained, not to iron out every crease. My advice to you will always be open and honest, and if I don't think something is right, I will tell you.

Some retinol FAQ's answered.

Retinoids are some of the most researched skincare products available. They are effective in treating a range of skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and hyperpigmentation.

I often prescribe Tretinoin (prescription strength retinol) for my patients (IYKYK), because of its anti-inflammatory properties. However, Vitamin A products do come with potential side effects that may put some people off using them. I want to explain why this happens and why you shouldn't be afraid to use this powerhouse skincare ingredient.

The chin is one of the most underestimated, yet most impactful, areas of the face to treat.

Facial harmony is guided by proportions. Ideally, the face sits in balanced thirds, and when the lower third lacks projection or structure, it can subtly disrupt the overall aesthetic- both front-on and in profile.

In this patient, we subtly improved chin projection and contour. By gently enhancing this area, we restored balance to the lower third, reduced shadowing and created a cleaner transition from chin to jawline.

Notice how the after image doesn’t look “done”- it simply looks more proportioned. The profile is stronger, the light reflects differently, and the lower face feels more harmonious.
