Undetectable injectables 💉✨

That's the ethos at Bloomfield Aesthetics. You should look and feel refreshed and rejuvenated, whilst my work should be undetectable.

These after images are taken immediately after treatment with HA injectables to improve the appearance of the under eye area and to sculpt and contour the chin/jawline.

There is some mild redness and swelling present which will subside after 30 minutes or so.

August was all about house renovations, and so content creation took a bit of a nose dive. So here’s a house update instead!

There’s still a lot to do, and I fear ._._ may actually lose the will to live if I ask him to choose between another (very similar) shade of neutral 🤣

It properly comes together next week when the plumbing, tiling and electrics are finished. Oh how I’ve missed the coffee machine and cooking in an oven!

Do you feel you look sad or unhappy? I can help with that.

Looking sad or miserable when you really don't feel that way can be a little deflating.

Luckily, there are safe and effective aesthetic treatments that can help.

So why does this happen? Well due to a combination of factors, including muscle pull and soft tissue changes.

The DAO muscle attaches at the oral commissure and is responsible for pulling the corners of the mouth down to express displeasure or uncertainty. Over time and repeated movement, this muscle can become tight and pull the corners down even at rest. We can counteract this by injecting a small amount of muscle relaxing injections to soften the muscle pull, providing a subtle lift.

As we age we lose volume from our facial fat pads, structural support from our cheekbones and jaw angle and collagen from our skin. This loss of structural support and increase in skin laxity leads to decent of the soft tissues which can lead to more prominent marionette lines. We can directly treat the marionette area with hyaluronic acid injectables to reduce their prominence, and we can treat the lateral face with collagen stimulating treatments to tighten and firm the skin, reducing lower face heaviness.
