U & I Care Ltd are “Rescue Ready” having just successfully passed their FAW LEVEL 3 and Trauma program. These staff work in our community proving vital care that gives their Clients a feeling of worth and belonging. It was so important to ensure that this professional team had enhanced knowledge and skills to be able to deal with a wide range of potential trauma situations, ranging from ligature trauma, major bleeding, Basic Life Support and AED. Stephen & Terry Finlay at Wallasey Amateur boxing club are “rescue ready”, having passed their Basic Life Support & AED training with Rapid Emergency First Response. A great day of basic life support! Did you know that all Amateur boxing coaches in the U.K have to go through rigorous training courses in coaching, first aid and safeguarding? A massive thank you to Stephen and Terry and indeed all the boxing staff at Wallasey ABC for inviting us down to provide for your first aid needs. Class of 04:08:22, St Bridget’s Catholic primary School, Warrington. This is the set up for the ‘blood circulation game’, for years 3-5. These kids were so switched on and showed excellent knowledge of the heart, blood cells and CPR. WELL DONE!! Due to child protection laws We are unable to show the kids doing their lifesaving skills however, they all smashed it! It just goes to show, young or old we can all learn life saving skills. Our community of lifesavers is growing, why not join us! With R.E.F.R “you will never bleed alone!”

Class of 23.07.22: Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood hub are now ‘rescue ready’, having just completed their Basic Life Support & AED Training qualification.
Delegates here are practising their airway management skills. ‘Head tilt chin lift’ or ‘jaw thrust’?? Would you know which to choose if your casualty couldn’t maintain their own airway and you couldn’t move them because you suspected a C spine injury?
