Nobody tells you that “everything is normal” can feel like the worst thing to hear.
You wanted an answer. You got a shrug dressed up in medical language. And now you are back at square one, except this time you do not even have a problem to fix.
I see this every single week in clinic.
Women who have done everything right. Bloods ticked off. Scans done. Partner checked. All clear. And yet something is still not adding up.
Here is what most standard testing misses.
A luteal phase that is two days too short. Progesterone that came back in range but not where it needs to be for implantation to hold. A BBT chart that never quite shifts in the second half of the cycle. None of it flagged. All of it relevant.
Normal and optimal are not the same thing.
NHS reference ranges are built to rule out disease. They are not built to tell you whether your body has everything it needs to grow a pregnancy. There is a gap between those two things and a lot of women are falling right into it without knowing.
If your results have all come back fine but something still feels off, trust that feeling. It is usually right.
This is exactly what our Lab Reviews are for.
We go through your bloodwork line by line using optimal functional ranges, not standard reference ranges, and build you a personalised plan based on what your body is actually showing.
Comment FBR if you are doing this on your own and I will send you the details.
Comment BOB if you and your partner want to look at this together.
Let’s find out what your results are actually telling you.
