L&M Healthcare Whittle Hall Like all L&M Healthcare homes, Whittle Hall is a beautiful place to live and work and is definitely not your everyday care home.

This is our second home in the Warrington and has 74 beds over 2 floors offering dementia nursing and complex dementia care.

What a lovely afternoon we’ve had being entertained by Trombonist extraordinaire, Helen Minshall.

It made quite a change to hear the tones from a blue Trombone play our favourite Christmas classics, and Helen makes music feel like such fun.

What a fantastic morning we’ve had here at Whittle Hall!

We’ve been entertained by the fabulous Marilyn Monroe, AKA Sara Humphries. Singing Christmas classics like ‘Santa Baby’ and lots more of our old favourites, Sara delighted residents with her performance and some of them were even up and on their feet dancing with our team members.

Christmas is almost here and we’ve got a fabulous week planned for everyone.

As well as Exercise, Art, and Music Therapy, we’ve got Brunch with Santa, Home Safari are bringing some cute little creatures, and we’ve got two live performances from Sandra Currie and Jen Bardsley. Plus lots of treats and gifts and ofcourse a fabulous Christmas lunch to look forward to.

Our superstar crafter Michelle has been leading another Christmas craft session this morning.

Michelle volunteered to lead a number of different craft sessions throughout December. Residents have loved taking part and have created some marvellous things.

Armchair Pilates with Lydia is becoming quite popular. It’s a huge hit with some of our residents.

It’s so important to stay mobile as you get older, even if you are unable to leave your chair, gentle exercise and stretching works wonders.

You can tell by the smiles that it’s also very enjoyable too!
