Some of our wonderful gentlemen enjoyed a cheerful afternoon outdoors, after the grey skies gave way to glorious sunshine. The garden came alive with the sound of laughter and friendly competition as they took part in classic games like lawn darts, ring toss, and a few rounds of boules. It was heartwarming to see the camaraderie, smiles, and shared stories as everyone got involved at their own pace — making the most of the summer warmth and fresh air.
These simple yet meaningful moments are so important in creating joy, encouraging movement, and building connection for those living with dementia. At Whittle Hall, we take pride in creating inclusive, enriching experiences tailored to every individual. Today was a shining example of how the outdoors can lift spirits and bring people together in ways that truly matter.
