🧠 Dementia Awareness Week 🧠

We’re supporting Dementia Awareness Week by highlighting support available for people living with dementia and those who care for them.

Dementia can affect memory, thinking, and everyday activities, but early recognition and the right support can help people live well for longer.

Living Well Warrington is an online directory that can help to find local dementia support, activities and services.

👉Click the link to browse support in your local area: https://livingwellwarrington.org/

If you’re concerned about memory changes in yourself or someone you care for, please contact the practice to discuss this further.

Together we can help create a more dementia-friendly community 💙

🌸International Nurses Day🌸

Today we celebrate and thank our incredible nursing team for their dedication, compassion, and hard work.

Our nurses play a vital role in patient care every day — from supporting long-term conditions and delivering clinics, to offering reassurance, advice, and kindness when it’s needed most. Their skill, professionalism, and commitment make a real difference to our patients and our community.

On International Nurses Day, we want to say a huge thank you to all nurses — especially those working in general practice — for everything you do.

💐 We truly couldn’t do it without you.

🌿 Stress Awareness Month: Support through Social Prescribing 🌿

If you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed, your GP practice can support you in more ways than you may think.

As well as medical care, we can refer you to a Social Prescribing Link Worker—a service that helps you access non- medical support within your local community.

Working in partnership with Warrington Voluntary Action, our Link Worker can help you:
💚 Connect with local groups and activities
💚 Improve your physical and mental wellbeing
💚 Access Practical or emotional support

👉 Contact your GP surgery as you usually would to ask about a Social Prescribing referral.
