Happy 10th gotcha day to Wilson!

A Whole TEN YEARS and you've gone from a naughty, bitey, peeing everywhere 16 week old mentalist, into a lovely (slightly) obedient, loving, scruffy little sweetheart.....who still pees everywhere and is still a mentalist!

This is Jeff the special butterfly. I raised him (it might be a her) from being a tiny caterpillar, through to his pupa state and into his chrysalis form. When he hatched, his wings didn't form properly, so he couldn't fly. He's been looked after, hand fed fruit and flowers and been doted on by me and my good friend.

He passed away this morning. He lasted 30 days, which is 2 days longer than he should have done (butterflies in the wild typically live 14 to 28 days).

I can't thank enough for looking after Jeff for the past 2 weeks,whilst I've been on holiday, taking on the wonderful job of feeding him fresh fruit and flowers and for taking him on a minibreak to Pendle!
