Weight training and bone density.....
Whenever you lift, push or pull, you're not just building muscle.
Weight bearing exercises like squats, deadlifts and chest pressing also strengthen your bones.
This can be hugely beneficial for those people at risk of losing bone density, such as older people or women during the menopause.
Weight lifting isn't just about looking 'buff', it's about building and maintaining strength from the inside out.
