Over 50? You should be deadlifting.....

As we age, maintaining physical fitness becomes increasingly important. For those of us over 50, incorporating strength training into our exercise becomes even more important.

One of the best single exercises we can do is the deadlift.

What can it do for you?

✅️ Enhanced Muscle Strength and Mass

✅️ Improved bone density

✅️ Enhanced functional fitness

✅️ Better posture and reduced back pain.

✅️ Metabolic health and weight management.

✅️ Enhanced balance and coordination.

They're effective, but it's important to perform them properly.....which is where I come in....

Don't make the mistake of comparing yourself to others.

Nobody else has the same life and commitments that you do. Everyone is different.

The only person you should be comparing yourself to is yourself....as you were last month, last year....

Have you made progress? Excellent 👌🏻

If you haven't made progress, make a plan to do something about it 💪🏻

Something of a dodgy character, but hear me out.....

He did this all without pre-workout, creatine, protein or any other supplements and no energy drinks......

He did this with no 'secret' diets, no fad diets, no paleo diet, no carnivore diet, no vegan diet....Just prison food and consistency (let's face it, he doesn't have much else to do apart from moustache husbandry).

Marketing and social media have much to answer for 🤔

I'm always wary when businesses aren't open about their pricing.

I'm in several PT groups on Facebook and the concensus of opinion seems to be that you shouldn't state your prices up front.

I disagree.

If I see 'call for price', what i actually see is 'we'll charge as much as we think we can get away with'.

My session and session block prices are, and always will be, on my website.

Gone are the days when I was concerned about looking 'buff', or getting a 'summer body'.

I'm even perfectly fine with my weight fluctuating a bit from month to month.

These days I'm more interested in staying as fit, strong, active and mobile as possible for the remaining third of my life (God willing).
