I qualified in Bombay, India and underwent training as a specialist registrar in the Liverpool region. I then underwent sub specialist fellowship training for hip surgery at Wrightington Hospital before taking up my post specialising exclusively in lower limb surgery at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
I am an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in surgery of the hip, knee, foot and ankle. My elective practice is exclusively in lower limb surgery and knee arthroplasty. I offer a range of implants for hip and knee replacement including small incision hip and knee surgery and unicompartmental knee replacement. I have a major interest in revision hip and knee replacement. I have a keen interest in research and I have a number of presentations and publications.
As a consultant orthopaedic surgeon I have performed the first iASSIST total knee replacement in the UK at Spire Cheshire Hospital. Zimmer iASSIST knee is an advanced surgical guidance system designed to improve the accuracy and alignment of total knee replacement surgery.
I perform a considerable number of revision total hip replacement and total knee replacement procedures. I also perform resurfacing hip replacements and uni-compartmental knee replacements.
I have pioneered the signature total knee replacement and the iASSIST total knee replacement, and I have treated one of the largest number of patients using these procedures in Europe.
My team and I are committed to providing excellent clinical care, allowing my patients to be active and free of pain.
