Standing with Sir Chris Hoy – and every man affected by prostate cancer 💙
Sir Chris Hoy is one of thousands of men in the UK who have sadly been diagnosed with prostate cancer too late. His story is a powerful reminder of why earlier checks and open conversations can save lives.
Speaking recently, Sir Chris shared his hope for change — so fewer men receive devastating news when treatment options are more limited. He highlighted the importance of men at higher risk, including those with a family history or Black men, being proactively supported to discuss a PSA blood test with their GP.
At Kleyn Healthcare, we stand firmly behind this message.
We believe men shouldn’t have to navigate risk, uncertainty, or symptoms alone. Early conversations, timely blood tests, and clear guidance can make a life-changing difference. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men - and yet too many diagnoses still come too late.
If you’re concerned, have symptoms, or simply want reassurance, we encourage you to come and talk to us. Getting checked isn’t a sign of worry - it’s a sign of strength.
Let’s normalise these conversations. Let’s support earlier diagnosis. Let’s protect lives.
