✨ A very special moment for our village ✨
Back in 2022, while attending a conference, some of our team were introduced to something called an interactive activity table. We immediately saw the incredible impact these tables were having in other care homes - particularly for residents who are nursed in bed or those who may find it more difficult to engage with traditional activities.
We knew straight away: our residents needed this.
So the fundraising mission began 💪
Later that year, a group of our team bravely took on Snowdon in the pouring rain 🌧️⛰️ and raised over £1000 towards the goal. Since then, our whole village community has got involved with bikathons, cake sales and even a Christmas market, all helping to bring us closer to making this dream a reality.
We were still a little way off our target… but then we received some truly incredible support from families who wanted to honour the memory of their loved ones by contributing to our goal. They are;

Their generosity helped make this possible, and we are eternally grateful. Their loved ones live on through every smile, every moment of connection, and every resident who will enjoy this wonderful piece of equipment ❤️
Yesterday, the activity table finally arrived, and today our Threlfall household residents were the very first to try it!
Safe to say…they absolutely love it! 🎉

This is such a proud moment for our village and a true reflection of what can happen when a community comes together.
