Sunday was party day for residents on out Whitley household 🥳 fun, food and festive games! The household team members made the event extra special 🥹

It’s so lovely to see everyone getting into the Christmas spirit and enjoying time together ❤️

We’re getting more and more excited for the big day! A reminder that our Bistro will also now be open on Boxing Day, serving breakfast from 10am-2pm 🍳

🎄✨ Residents’ Christmas Party ✨🎄

After our tenants enjoyed their Christmas celebrations, today it was the turn of our residents along with our experience day guests, and what a lovely afternoon it was 🥳🎄

Christmas is all about spending time together, and our residents did just that, enjoying plenty of laughter, conversation and festive cheer. We played bingo, shared the fun of pass the parcel, and it was wonderful to see our team members joining in and celebrating alongside everyone 🎁

A huge thank you to our Bistro team for putting on an amazing buffet, with a fantastic selection of food and delicious desserts that were thoroughly enjoyed by all ⭐️

Moments like these truly capture the warmth and sense of community here at the village 🎄❤️

✨ Christmas moments around the village ✨

We’ve been embracing the festive season across our households with so many lovely moments to share 🎄

From joyful musical therapy sessions with Pam on Greenall, to plenty of Christmas crafting on Threlfall filling our spaces with colour and creativity, it’s been wonderful to see residents getting involved and enjoying the lead up to Christmas 🥹

There’s also been plenty of card writing taking place on our households. Cunningham residents created beautiful Christmas cards for their families, and thoughtfully wrote cards for our team members too, all carefully delivered by resident Ann ❤️

A special mention to Debbie and Donna from the Bistro. Debbie baked a beautiful Christmas sponge which was then lovingly decorated by Bistro Assistant Donna and her granddaughter - a perfect example of different generations coming together 💖

Thank you to everyone who helps make our village feel so warm and full of festive spirit! 🎄🥳

🚐 Slowly but surely, we’re building our confidence with the Belong minibus and heading out on more trips together!

Today it was the turn of our Experience Day guests, who chose a visit to Bents Garden Centre to soak up a bit of festive magic and what a perfect choice it was ✨🎄

From twinkling lights and beautiful Christmas displays to stopping for scones and hot chocolate, it was a lovely day out filled with smiles, chats and seasonal cheer. Getting out into the community and creating these moments is what it’s all about 💛

We’re also really excited to share that from January, we’ll be commencing household trips, opening up even more opportunities for meaningful outings and shared experiences 🚐✨

Here’s to many more adventures to come! 🧳

This afternoon, we welcomed the amazingly talented Brian & Maxine Warner who performed a set that had us all up dancing, mingling and having so much fun! 💃🪩

Brian & Maxine Warner are world renowned, having performed for royalty and big name stars. As exciting as that must’ve been for them, we’re sure it was nothing compared to our crowd! 😂 it was non stop from start to finish!

🎄 National Christmas Jumper Day 2025 🎄

Today we celebrated National Christmas Jumper Day, and our tenants, residents, experience day guests and team members all donned their best festive wear for a day full of Christmas cheer! ☺️

Nicky and Louise served up delicious hot chocolates and mince pies, helping us raise even more towards our fundraising goal 🥳 and spreading plenty of smiles along the way ✨

This afternoon in the Venue, we hosted a Christmas social where tenants, experience day guests and residents came together to enjoy hot chocolate and cake, lovingly served by our Experience Day team ☺️

Across the village, households have been busy decorating, getting into the festive spirit and enjoying each other’s company. It’s always heartwarming to see household team members and residents creating these special moments together ❤️✨

🎄 Christmas Markets 2025 🎄

We’ve had an amazing day at our annual Christmas markets. The atmosphere has been buzzing and, despite the gloomy weather, we’ve had the best day ever! 🥳

Thank you to our incredible stall holders both from our households and the public. We know lots of people have got some amazing Christmas gifts and prizes! 🙏 and to our bistro team who served up some delicious festive food!

Thank you to Tina sax for getting the vibe going and for allowing us all to get involved with singing, percussion and dancing 🎷

We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did! Let’s start planning the summer fair now 😂☀️
