It’s live.
She Runs is now available.
A 12-week return-to-running programme designed to bring together the bits that are often missing - strength, stability, pelvic floor considerations, impact and load management, alongside a gradual return to running.

It’s:
• online and home-based
• minimal kit (just bands)
• flexible around life with a baby
• £24.99, unlimited access
• bonus downloads included

Built with postnatal women in mind, but suitable for anyone returning to running after time away who wants a more considered approach than “just start running”.

Anyone who’s followed me for a while will know I’m not someone who romanticises running. I see the value in it, I understand why people want to do it but I’ve never pretended it’s my favourite thing.

So yes, it is ironic that I’ve helped design a running programme.

But it’s also exactly why this one exists.

“When can I run again?” is one of the most common postnatal questions we get

If you work with postnatal women in any capacity, you’ll recognise this straight away.

When can I run again?
How do I know if I’m ready?
Can I just try and see?

These are questions we’re asked constantly.

And every January, without fail, I see the other side of that question play out in clinic - women presenting with knee pain, lower back pain, pelvic floor symptoms or a general sense that their body just doesn’t feel right anymore.

Very often, the story is the same: They returned to running too soon. Or they returned with good intentions, but without building foundations first, or alongside it. Not because they were reckless. But because no one showed them how to prepare properly.

This programme came from collaboration and clinical reality

Over the past few months, I’ve been working on this project with Nicole Messham - Pre & Postnatal Specialist, and together we’ve developed She Runs. Between us, we bring years of experience working with women returning to exercise - clinically, practically, and in real-world settings. This has been shaped by:

* evidence-based postnatal return-to-running guidance
* what we see go wrong when women rush back
* and what actually works when foundations are built properly (read more....)

Running is high-impact, repetitive and demanding. Returning to it without rebuilding strength, stability and control first is often where problems begin - especially at the knees, lower back and pelvic

Six years post C-section. Over a year post appendectomy.
Both technically “healed”… yet the tightness and pulling around the laparoscopic scars were still very much a thing.
This is incredibly common. The scars look fine on the outside, but underneath the layers can stay restricted, stuck and generally unhelpful, especially around keyhole sites. You’ll feel it when you stretch, twist or even just stand a certain way.

Today we did some gentle scar therapy to get the deeper tissues moving again, plus the lymph heated brush to help clear that heavy, congested feeling that often lingers around older scars.

Even the subtle changes you see on the outside often reflect much bigger shifts happening underneath. A small softening or bit of extra movement at the surface usually means the deeper layers are finally starting to let go.

You’re never “too far on” for this work to make a difference.
If your scar still pulls, feels tight or just doesn’t feel “right”…get in touch

Day 3 of the Women’s Wellness Christmas Giveaway 🎁

Today’s prize is a FREE C-section scar therapy treatment with Rehab With Claire.

Seeing as September is the UK’s biggest birth month (make of that what you will about what we get up to every Christmas and New Year 😉) a lot of C-section scars are now well healed on the surface. This means it’s the perfect time to start working on how they feel underneath.

If your scar feels tight, pulling, numb, lumpy or just “not quite right”, scar therapy can make a huge difference.
