As you can see from this lovely photo, they both wore red to mark the occasion!

As well as being a fabulous couple, Gordon and Eileen dedicate their time to Wheels for All, helping more people experience the joy of cycling at Debdale Park. 🚲

On Saturday, a group of friends turned their annual pub-to-pub bike ride into something truly special – raising funds and awareness for motor neuron disease (MND) in support of their friend Luke 🥰

The Wheels for All team from the East region were proud to play a small part in the day by providing Luke with an adapted cycle so he could ride alongside his friends and be part of the tradition once again. 🙌

It was amazing to see Luke’s determination and positivity whilst taking part, and we are thrilled to see that the group’s efforts have already raised an incredible £57,000 towards vital MND research and support. Their aim is to reach £100,000 – and every donation brings them closer.

Special thanks also to the The Carpenters Arms in Great Wilbraham for supporting with a unique charity beer – cleverly named by Luke himself: “My Next Drink” (MND) – with £1 from every pint going towards his fundraising!

We believe cycling should be for everyone, and we were delighted to help make Luke’s participation possible 🚲❤️

We've received these lovely pictures form our visit to the Old Heath Recreation Ground Open Day last weekend where our team from the Colchester Hub were asked to come along and chat about Wheels for All and inclusive cycling! 🚲

It was a lovely event filled with lots of big smiles and we were able to chat to many locals from the community and even engaged with some possible new volunteers which is always a great way to intoriduce people to the work we do as a charity!

Of course no visit to an Open Day would be complete without cake and as you can see from one of the photos where no knife is available, a cable tie will do! 😂🍰

A huge thank you to everybody involved on the day for having us a long and to everybody who came and talked with the team! 🥰

The training day (Thursday 11th) is set to be a hands-on day designed for volunteers, carers, teachers, and health professionals where you can learn how to support inclusive cycling through practical skills, adapted cycle knowledge, and safe session delivery.

On Friday 12th we will be at Hexham Leisure Centre delivering free taster sessions, so if you are curious about inclusive cycling and want to try out an adapted cycle for yourself then come down and speak to the team and see the benefits for yourself! ❤️

Guess where we were yesterday? 🚲👀

It was an honour to be asked to come along to the first stage of the Men's Tour of Britain which took place between Woodbridge and Southwold.

It was great day (and a sunny one thankfully) where we were able to watch the race as well as chat to people about Wheels for All and our Hubs in the East region that are making sure everybody has access to cycling! 🙌

As you can see our team from the East, Hannah and Jo, were all smiles at the finish line which was won by Olav Kooij from the Netherlands- aptly nicknamed the Flying Dutchman!

A huge thank you to everyone we were able to chat to and to the team at TOB for the invite to come along to this amazing event! 😁
