Before heading off for the summer holidays, the lovely Year 2 pupils at St Alban's Catholic Primary School created some beautiful hand-drawn cards to help spread some cheer around the hospice 💚

We’ve proudly displayed them at reception for everyone to enjoy so if you’re visiting us soon, be sure to take a look! A huge thank you to the children (and their teachers!) for such a thoughtful gesture ❤

This weekend we decided it was time to take on a challenge for ourselves, and swapped our desks for a 5k Inflatable Course!

It was fantastic to join in with the other teams out supporting us too. We’re thrilled to say £2,500 has been raised so far all together! Thank you to everyone who donated and cheered us all on. 💚

And a special thank you to Brian Tuohey Photography for the brill photos!

These two budding businesswomen have been busy making and selling bracelets, all to raise money for St Roccos Hospice and have already raised an incredible £300! 👏

During their visit, Pippa and Connie had a tour of the Hospice, popped in to see our Craft Group (where they even made another sale!), received some crafts to take home, and finished with a very special moment on the ward where they read a heartfelt speech to our nurses.

A huge thank you to these two inspiring young stars for their creativity, kindness, and dedication. You're both amazing! ⭐️⭐️

We welcomed Al and Christine into the Hospice for a cheque presentation from their Bowling Green, raising £2100 in memory of Christine's brother, Ollie.

From speaking with Al and Christine, it’s clear the day was filled with love and laughter, the perfect tribute to someone so special. With 32 teams taking part, the competition came down to a thrilling final between Al & Christine and Jonathan & Elaine, with the latter being crowned champions late into the evening.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the day. Your kindness and generosity mean so much, and help us continue providing compassionate care to local families when they need it most. 💚

Getting Muddy for Rocco's! 🩷

A huge thank you to Emma, her mum Linda, and their two friends, Vicky and Jayne, who all took part in Pretty Muddy! Together they raised an amazing £500, kindly splitting their donations between St Roccos Hospice and PAPYRUS.

They took on the challenge in memory of two very special men, Emma’s dad, Peter, and their friend’s son, Faris. 💕

Thank you so much to you all, it looked like a brilliant day with lots of laughs!

We had such a lovely time visiting Year 1/2 at St Vincent's Catholic Primary School 🌟

It was a joy to talk to the children about the care we provide at St Rocco’s Hospice, and how something as simple as a hand massage can bring real comfort to our patients. They were all so well behaved and full of brilliant questions, and we even got to read some of their amazing work! 💛

Thank you so much for having us – we hope to see you all again soon!

We were so glad to welcome the St Alban's Catholic Primary School choir into the hospice for their final visit of the academic year!

They sang some summery songs to our We Care group, as well as to our patients, families and friends on the ward. The rain might have been pouring outside but they definitely spread sunshine around the hospice ☀️💚

A big well done as always to all the amazing pupils and staff for practicing these songs for us, we can't wait to welcome you again after the summer!
