When I was a child I got a money box off my parents one year from Christmas, it was beautiful, red leather with gold writing inlaid. It had an Acorn on the front and and Oak Tree on the back and the saying, 'Tall Oaks from Little Acorns Grow' from that day to this that mantra has stuck in my head as something I believe in, it takes time for something as big, strong and majestic as an Oak Tree to grow and reach its full potential. When I was thinking of a name to call myself when I started thinking about training to teach Yoga and Pilates, I was at the time injured and couldn't train so went out for a walk, along the way I passed a Tall Oak that had shed it fruits, Acorns, and I picked on up, took a picture and posted it with the mantra. At that time I had a 'light buld' moment and the name Tall Oaks came into my head and that's how Tall Oaks came to be.
