Introducing Dr. Zarmina Babar who is a distinguished member of our dental team at Appleton park dental practice, boasting a profound focus on cosmetic dentistry. Having earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Khyber College of Dentistry in Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2016, Dr. Zarmina embarked on a remarkable journey in the field.

Her professional trajectory includes a Foundation Training in Belfast in 2019, marking the early stages of her commitment to excellence. In 2022, Dr. Zarmina achieved a Diploma in Prosthodontics at the Advanced Centre of Excellence in London and became a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College Edinburgh.

Originally hailing from Pakistan, Dr. Zarmina made Belfast her initial post-graduate home before settling in Liverpool in 2020, where she has since become a private dentist. Patients appreciate her proficiency and dedication to cosmetic dentistry, with expertise spanning composite bonding, clear braces, gum lifts, and veneers.

Dr. Zarmina’s commitment to patient care is exemplified by her successful completion of full mouth rehabilitation for those with severe tooth wear, requiring composite build-up or crowns. Notably, she has recently been recognized as a finalist for the “Best Young Dentist” award in private dentistry.

A perpetual learner, Dr. Zarmina actively pursues professional development, participating in postgraduate courses covering Endodontics, Periodontics, and Facial Aesthetics. With her comprehensive skill set and passion for advancement, Dr. Zarmina ensures that you are in capable hands for all your dental needs.

Jake graduated from University of Liverpool with honours.

He is now coming to the end of completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry in London.

He likes to care for all ages, but particularly enjoys cases that involve improving smiles through minimally invasive (little/no drilling or needles required) techniques such as straightening teeth, whitening and composite bonding.

He enjoys using systems such as Invisalign to correct misaligned teeth. Using restorative techniques such as composite bonding, porcelain veneers, white crowns and fillings to help patients achieve their dream smiles.

In his spare time Jake enjoyes watching football. He’s an avid Everton fan with 4 boys ( so unfortunately they are cursed with Everton Fanaticism) - He enjoys going fishing and golf too!

We are thrilled to welcome him to our team!
