Well done to our member and Cookery Assistant Nai for completing her Level 1 Food Safety certificate. Nai started during lockdown online doing the cookery classes and we felt that she had progressed so much that we promoted her to be Cookery Assistant. She passed her Food Safety certificate with flying colours. Amazing Nai, we’re all so proud of you! ⭐️

Thank you and for your wonderful gift. Our last cart buckled with being overworked and loaded to capacity…our beautiful friends at Himos Hub and Himos Yoga bought us a new cart to deliver many more wonderful events and performances ❤️❤️❤️. You’re all wonderfully kind…thank you. 🥰❤️🙏

We’ve had the best day at Disability Awareness Day making new connections, welcoming new members and doing what we do best…performing and showcasing the talent within our community.

Our Creative Crew had their art work exhibited in the main Arts tent with our leader Liz Jones from The Himos Hub ❤️. Such talented artists- stunning art work.

Our Beautiful Noise Choir and Ignite Dance and Musical Theatre group performed a repertoire of pop and rock hits led by our Choir and Brass band leader Jacky Keating ❤️.

Part of the day is also about making new connections so it was great to see and catch up with The Puddle Project, Walton Lea Partnership, Community Catalysts Warrington, Cheshire Autism Practical Support, The Autism Wellbeing Project and Families United.

What a hot day though but wonderful to see our members old, current and new. 🥰

Whilst our cookery teacher Janine was on holiday we swapped the mixing bowl for the ten pin bowl! What a fabulous afternoon we had Warrington. Thanks to Denise for organising a lovely afternoon. 🎳

This is the best way to start the week with a beautifully relaxed session with our team from The Himos Hub Liz Jones and two students on work placement, Lara and Scarlett.

Our artists created stunning Swan pictures and also helped make the backdrop ‘living rocks’ for our upcoming show.

Thanks all and well done to our artists. As always we couldn’t run the sessions without our team of volunteers- Jane, Joan, Paula and Jenny. 🥰🙏
