Yesterday in group we talked about emotional eating.

One woman said, “I didn’t realise I eat when I’m overwhelmed.”

Another said, “I thought I was the only one.”

There was no judgement. No eye rolling. No comparison.

Just nodding, understanding and people saying "me too".

And then we discussed practical strategies to try this week.

We ended by sharing experience and even started to giggle about some of them.

After 23 years in weight management, I’ve seen every trend.

Low fat. Low carb. Juices. Shakes. Points. Syns.

And I’ve never met a woman who failed because she wasn’t trying hard enough.

Most were: Over-restricting. Under-eating. Emotionally exhausted. Ashamed.

That’s why I built Best of You.

Not to make women smaller. But to make them stronger.

Because:
• We lose muscle (which lowers metabolic rate)
• Oestrogen changes impact fat storage
• Stress affects cortisol and appetite
• Years of dieting slow adaptation

🚫The answer isn’t: Eat less.

It’s:
✅️ Protect muscle.
✅️ Balance blood sugar.
