We’re celebrating one of our amazing Best of You members today – Christina – who recently completed a 200-mile cycling trip around the breathtaking Italian Lakes, including Lake Garda, Lake Como, and Lake Maggiore. 🚴‍♀️🇮🇹

This week in my group sessions, I’ll be talking about BBQs and alfresco eating.

So what actually happens in one of my meetings?

✨ I won’t be listing all the BBQ foods that are high in calories, points or syns to shock and shame you.
✨ I won’t be suggesting you make substitute BBQ foods out of cauliflower rice!
✨ We won’t be applauding tales of going to a BBQ and only eating salad and drinking water.

Instead, we’ll chat about how to enjoy a normal social event without restriction or guilt. How to make the most of these times without stressing over what you eat.

And I’ll be sharing some delicious, healthy recipes with a twist that you can actually enjoy – absolutely no cauliflower rice in sight!

🥕✨ Bored of Boiled Carrots? Here Are 7 Fresh Ways to Cook Your Veg! 🌈

If you’re trying to eat more veggies but keep reaching for the same old steamed side… it’s time to mix it up! 🙌

Here are 7 tasty ways to make your veg more exciting (and actually want to eat them):

1. 🌶️ Roast them with spice – Add smoked paprika, cumin, or garlic powder. Try cauliflower, carrots, or chickpeas for a crispy finish.

2. 🧄 Add a drizzle – Olive oil + lemon + tahini or balsamic glaze can completely transform plain veg.

3. 🔥 Stir-fry with sauce – Broccoli, peppers, mushrooms + soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil = quick flavour bomb.

4. 🍲 Blend into soups – A great way to use up sad fridge veg. Add lentils or beans for a satisfying meal.

5. 🌮 Veggie tacos – Roast peppers, onions, courgette + black beans in taco wraps with salsa and avo.

6. 🥬 Try air-fried or griddled greens – Tenderstem broccoli or green beans tossed in oil and salt = next-level.

7. 🥔 Veg mash or purée – Swap plain mash for one made with carrot, parsnip, or cauliflower + butter and herbs.
