As a Mum of two young ones , and with my husband working away, time is manic.

I felt so much guilt for allowing myself some time to work on me. Bonkers.

Speaking to friends of a similar age - the guilt is real. They all feel like they are drowning in work, life, kids, ‘the juggle’ - suddenly finding it harder as perimenopause sneaks in with little space for ‘down time’.

Working with B, I learnt to give myself time for ME each day. I learned that I could find where the anger started, and breathe properly through it, which means I am a better Mum, and more in control, and the children are happier too.

Your body speaks through symptoms, energy levels, cravings, and emotions. What has it been trying to tell you that you've been too busy or too scared to listen to?

One of the reasons why retreating is vital to our wellbeing. It gives us time, space away from the daily grind to slow down, settle enough to hear the whispers of the body.

I know how confusing and isolating this journey can feel. That's why I'm here – to walk alongside you [like a big sis who happens to be a yoga coach & wellness advocate] with practical yoga tools, honest conversations, and a whole lot of understanding.

Through my own menopause journey as a yoga teacher, I discovered that this transition isn't something to "fix" – it's an invitation to reconnect with ourselves more deeply.

Now, I help women like you find balance, build resilience, and move through this season with more ease and confidence.

Whether you're navigating hot flushes, joint pain, sleepless nights, or just feeling a bit untethered, you're not alone. Together, we'll explore gentle movement, lifestyle shifts, and mindful practices that actually support your changing body.

Patience, Perseverance, Practice

For me yoga is a way of life and it teaches me how to live better, be better a human. The physical, mental and spiritual benefits are evident; yoga has helped me turn my life around and I want to share this healing practice with others.

I endeavour to bring the qualities of compassion and equanimity to my practice and encourage this in class. Yoga is for everybody! It is not a competition to see who is the most flexible; the pose is not the prize! Yoga is a way of being. It offers practices for living, taking care of self (body and mind), developing a deeper relationship with self and others. In fact, it is what we take from the mat into our daily lives that is yoga. The competition with our own ego is the fiercest of all and where we really need to be gentle and kind; letting go is key as well as cultivating an attitude of non-judgment. We need to bring patience and perseverance to our practice. A commitment to getting on the mat and exploring with playful curiosity.

Bref, yoga - for me - is about: acceptance, non-judgment, kindness, compassion, awareness, service, growth and truth.
