Unrealistic Plans For Fat Loss

I couldn’t tell you how many parents I’ve spoken to who have all the intention of doing everything to lose weight when they start


But the plans they aim for are so unrealistic with their current lifestyles

I use to train for an hour plus back in the day doing the old bro split over 5-6 days

Protein shake in the car on the way home to eat my chicken, rice and broccoli đŸ„±

My life was the gym and that was ok, when I was 20 years old

Now with a family, job, business, relationship and being 40 and having other responsibilities

I have to train smarter, not just more

‘Do You Miss The Gym?’

Today I’ve spent my time around amazing gym owners and listening to their stories of the gym owner life

I was talking to one of my clients online the other day and in her catch up, she asked me if I missed my gym (she use to train there)

The community is what I miss the most out of it all

When I look back at how hard it was to get it to where it was, it was tough and a lot of work

I made so many mistakes and if I could go back, there would only be a few things I would change

But those mistakes made me the person I am today and I’ve learnt from them all

This is the same as you trying to lose weight and doing diets


I never blame anyone for falling for the fads out there, but when you can’t sustain them, learn from them so you don’t keep making the same mistakes over and over again

I really miss my gym, some days more than others

But I’m still learning and spending my time around people who drive me to be better and to want more from my life business wise

You never know what the future will hold, but takes your mistakes and learn from them

Simple Nutrition 🍗

A lot of people over complicate their nutrition at the start of their journey and this is a big reason majority fall off before they’ve even got going

⭕ they just end up going around in circles from one fad diet to the next

They slowly gain weight and the body fat creeps

What Should I Eat To Drop Body Fat?

A very common question when someone starts their health and weight loss journey and although you’ve still got coaches pushing chicken, rice and broccoli for every meal..

It doesn’t have to be like that

There’s NO good or bad foods which one their own will make or break your results

It’s about your overall day, week, month and year

Having a chocolate bar won’t make you fat

But having a salad won’t make you healthy

People don’t lose weight because of numerous reasons and a big one is they try to eat like a rabbit giving up everything they enjoy which never ever lasts

It’s a quick fix which never actually addresses the core of why you’re over weight and unhealthy in the first place

It doesn’t address your unhealthy habits and behaviours around food

And it’s not sustainable (you know this)
