Week 4 Review and Results šŸ“

So I’ve been on my plan now for 4 weeks and I’m documenting it to my own clients and the clients at the gym I work at

I’m doing this for a few reasons…

šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ¦°For me and to make myself feel better in the one body I have because even us coaches have goals and moments. I have my goals and they’re set. The only person who will stop me getting them is me

I work 50 hour weeks without traveling to work, I have dad and family responsibilities to juggle

Then I have to find the time for me and my health, it’s not easy

ā¤ļø For my family because they deserve the best me from being healthy, fit enough to run around after them, confident enough to do things with them like swimming or anything like that

šŸ¤ For my clients because it’s important for them to see that you can get healthy without giving any foods up and without training every day

There’s more to life than the gym but doing it with the gym involved and with a better understanding of nutrition makes life so much better

The Scale Mindset Most Never Escape 😢

If you’re over the age of 30, likely hood is you’ve spent most of your adult lives trying to lose weight and get healthy

Diets a few times over the year as you want and maybe need to ā€˜lose weight’

Looking back, you were happier and more confident when you weighed ….

Looking back, you need that body and health again

But looking back, reflecting, it wasn’t your weight number which made you more confident, happier, felt s*xier and amazing both in and out of clothes

It was everything else, never the weight number

But we fixate on that number because of what you’ve always been told from Drs, BMI, Slimming World, Weight Watchers etc

That’s imbedded and it’s ruining your chance of getting the results you really want

This is where I have to spend a lot of my time with clients when they come to me for help with their health goals

This takes patience, education and support

But you have to fix this mindset because you’re so much more than number and there’s so much more to health than the scales

If you could have that body you want

The confidence you’ve always wanted or maybe use to have

If this lead to a happier relationship and s*x life

If it made you more confident to play with your kids, to get in that swimming costume or for the lads to their tops off

If you had all the energy and you just felt amazing

Reviewing Your Progress Is Important

When someone comes to me for help with their fat loss and health results, most don’t have an idea of what’s actually going ok, and what’s the big things they need to work on

Even when someone joins my program, the first part and phase of it is called reflection, this is really important

How can you fix what you don’t even know?

I just need to eat better or I know what I need to do doesn’t work and you know this because if you’re unhealthy, unhappy in your body with lower confidence and fitness levels, 99% of people don’t choose to stay here because they’re happy

How many diets have you tried?

Let’s say since you became 30 years old, how many times have you tried to get healthier and lose some weight?

How many slimming clubs? How many meal plans?

Years of trying to be sat now today, even further away from that healthier body

Giving Foods Up For Fat Loss

How many times have you tried this?

Decide this Monday, you’re starting the diet

The waist has grown and you now feel uncomfortable sat down, in jeans and even doing daily tasks as a busy person

You start to feel uncomfortable in your body which affects your confidence in and out of your clothes

Energy is down and you feel old

You know you’re not 18 anymore but surely you shouldn’t feel this tired and sore around the joints at your age?

And you shouldn’t, this isn’t how you should be spending your day to day life

But giving foods up doesn’t work

If You’re An Adult Trying To Drop Weight

Stop Doing This šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

Carbs are not the reason you’re overweight so stop trying to drop them all together when you decide it’s time to sort your health out

You can’t sustain the plan long enough to see any results because of decisions like this

You’re making a tough journey harder than it has to be

And again, you can’t sustain it so why do you keep doing it?

Fat loss can easily be achieved while eating carbs

You can drop your weight down and feel better both in and out of clothes while eating carbs

You can train better and recover while eating carbs

All the nice foods have carbs in

You can’t sustain it

Week 3 Weigh In šŸ“‰

I got my weigh out done on the InBody and had a little review over week 3 and how things are going

I’m currently 6.2lb down with around 1.4% body fat down aswell

But the most important part for me on this journey is that i’m enjoying it and it’s not that hard because of the way I’m doing it

I sat down and wrote some goals…

Then I went deeper on these goals because it’s never about weight loss

I then broke them down into manageable weekly and daily goals

Then I did the work

Not perfect, but I’ve won more days than I lost

I’ve trained around 10-11 times in 21 days

I’ve aimed for my 70k steps per week

I’ve pushed my chocolate back to the evening apart from the odd creme egg here and there in work

I’ve ate decent size breakfasts everyday and this was a struggle I hit early on when working early and not prepping for it

I’ve started to prep 3 days of lunches twice per week and leave Sundays alone

I’ve been consistent around 2.5 - 3ltrs of water per day

I’ve told people I’m doing this for the accountability

I’ve got clients going through their own journeys now on the 6 Weeks Reset Method and we’re working together to create the own path and habits to get and keep the results they want without any crazy diets or plans

If you’re on a the fence about this program and you’ve tried all the plans before, I get it, why would this one be any different, right?

This Is A BIG One That Stops A Lot Getting Results

There’s so many more to this but these are a few common ones amongst bus adults over the age of 35 who now find themselves stuck and unhappy in the bodies and health they have

But stuck doesn’t mean forever, however you do need to fix these to get the results you want

I’m going to keep this short but ask yourself a simple question and this will give you a great starting point on what to do this week so you can drop a decent amount of weight this week without doing anything crazy

What do you do well around health over the week and what could you do better?

If you know, this is really important

But most, from over 13 years experience doing this and working with adults over the age of 35 who have full time jobs, kids and are busy day to day

Will say random things…

I don’t eat bad

I don’t eat that much

I don’t eat much sugar or junk

I don’t even like chocolate

Random stuff but no actual detailed information about what they do well and what needs work

So you’re always guessing and hoping

It’s why you never get results

I’m just about to sit down and do the week 1 check ins and review forms for the ones who completed their first 7 days in the Online Reset Method so this week, we move forward towards their big goals

Weight Loss Is Simple

But it’s not easy and that’s why most people know they should be eating better and moving more….

Yet don’t and stay stuck in the body and health which makes them sad, frustrated etc

There’s that much information available now on here and a lot of it is rubbish and coming from people selling the next shiny fad diet

Every healthy person in the world do the same, boring daily habits

It’s just apart of our lives and daily habits now that we do without needing as much effort compared to someone starting their journey

We all took the first steps like you’ve likely tried in the past

The only difference is we stuck with it and have done this longer now

It is simple

But when you throw in the fads, detoxes, all or nothing mindset, the lack of support, lack of accountability, confusion around nutrition, gym anxiety or confusion what you should be doing etc

Im never surprised people didn’t plans through long enough on their own or when they go to a slimming club or poor coach online

Fat Loss Goals As A Busy Parent

Remember back in the day when you were healthier and happier in your body?

When I sit down with someone to talk goals and find out more about them now, their pasts and what is driving them to get healthy

The majority will say I want to lose …. and then have a number in their head they think is going to be the magic number to their results

This number is the one they think they need to get which will bring fitness, confidence, energy, better looking body, healthier and better place with their food etc

But this number is usually related to the past

This is the number from years ago when they felt better in their bodies

They felt more confident

They felt s*xier both in and out of clothes

Energy was better

They see old photos or memories and want that body back

But life isn’t the same for us anymore

We’re older with more responsibilities and less free time to focus on ourselves

Other people became your priority and your health slipped

You don’t need to be that you from the past to be healthy and happy again

You don’t need to weigh what you weighed back then to look and feel better in the one body you have

But you need a better goal

Weight loss isn’t enough

It doesn’t hit hard enough for you to do something about the health situation you’re in

Its not enough for you to actually sustain the journey long enough to see a proper change
